What would you do if you find a child at your door? Donghyuck would definitely take full responsibility. Well, how about finding out that the child is actually your boss' son?

"Why bother getting your secretary involved?"
Both of them settled down on the sofa. Mark could finally breathe after clarifying every single detail of his messed up situation and confessing the mistakes he made. He admitted the faults of his decisions and the flaws of how he handled the consequences of his actions.
His next worry is how his father is going to react now that he knows why during these past years, he has been strict about his private life.
"What?" Mark asked, not expecting that his secretary is the first thing his father is curious about.
"What's holding you back from taking legal custody of your son?" The man had to ask, appearing completely different from how carefree and easygoing he was a moment ago. "Why haven't you explained this to Donghyuck yet? Why are you just letting him raise your son?"
Mark wasn't ready to answer the question.
He already has a response to that, but he knows how pathetic his reason is.
"What's Lucas say about this?" Noticing that his son is uneasy in regards to talking about his secretary, the father took consideration in throwing him another question.
"I'm trying to talk it out with him." Mark groaned as he buried his face down to the palm of his hands. "I'll be meeting Doyoung later, anyway. I'm pretty sure Lucas will be there. You know, those idiots love to see both of us suffer."
"You're lucky that Doyoung is finding time to actually fix your friendship with Lucas." Above all, he is a father before he is a businessman. His worry about his son's well being comes first than what's going to happen to the company. "Hey..."
"I know. I fucked up. Big time. I was drunk and..." It took Mark a moment to think before deciding to confess. "I couldn't find Donghyuck after that party."
That's one way to admit why he wants his secretary to get involved in this mess.
How hopeless of a romantic he is.
Thinking about it, maybe his employees are right. The rule of not dating inside the company is heavily, unofficially, implemented by him because he can't even shoot his shot on his secretary that's obviously in love with him.
But of course, as a worried parent, the father didn't want to trust blindly on someone that he doesn't know on a personal level. "Mark, is Donghyuck even qualified to look after your son while you sort out your conflict with Lucas?"
"Dad, I have been purposely hanging out with him a lot lately. There's also a time they slept at my house, and I slept at his." Mark told him. "I can attest to that. He's perfect."
