What would you do if you find a child at your door? Donghyuck would definitely take full responsibility. Well, how about finding out that the child is actually your boss' son?

No words were exchanged, but Mark and Donghyuck were communicating with their eyes. One looked baffled that no one dared to inform him that someone important was paying a visit today, and the other looked like he was scolded for not knowing anything at all. The latter was no other than Mark Lee.
Donghyuck let out a whispered scoff, pissed that in front of the owner of the company itself, his first impression in quite a while is how tardy and irresponsible he is for coming to work late (even when he was excused by the CEO himself), and for bringing a child with him when it's not the field for kids to run around and play. Meanwhile, Mark's menacing aura and stern personality that he built brick by brick was easily shattered, just like that, all because of his father visiting him unnoticed.
"At least the kid knows what you usually want." The man, feared by both the CEO and the secretary, broke the minute of silence inside the office.
The only one who had no clue who he was, neither was he intimidated by him, spoke to him with an intention to befriend him. "Mister old man, you like coffee too?"
The father raised a brow at how fearless the child was for talking to him casually. "Bitter isn't really my style."
"Me too! Papa said it's Ew! Yuck! Ugh!" The innocent boy made some faces as he described the coffee he was told to hold and give as a surprise. "But Daddy likes it!"
Donghyuck mentally slapped himself to get his shit together and make a plan on how to get out of this situation. "Chan, just give the coffee to Mr. Lee and let's go."
"Donghyuck?" It looks like the father had a lot to say. Somehow having the same taste of entertainment as his own son, teasing the secretary. "It's been a while. Still loyal as ever to my son, even if he can be stubborn sometimes."
Sometimes? All the time! Donghyuck held back the thoughts of disagreement. Instead, he pulled off a polite smile. "Good to see you again, Director Lee."
Being silent for long enough, Mark finally had the guts to clear the misunderstanding that's about to begin. "Dad, please—"
The father didn't let him speak though. He cuts him off with a question for the little boy. "And you are?"
A child would immediately know what kind of stranger they have to be careful of. In this case, despite the man giving an aura of authority, the boy didn't feel even a hint of fear.
"Chan!" There's something about this old man that he found comforting. "Me is Chan!"
Not being able to take it anymore, Mark strode his way around his table and approached his secretary with the boy. He then turned around to face his father while having the both behind him.
