"Donghyuck..."
He heard his name being called dozens of times. He woke up to none of those.
All Donghyuck could remember was dozing off to sleep as he kept on chanting inside his head not to cry. He knew he was already bawling his eyes out, but he still kept on telling himself, countless times, not to cry or to stop crying.
The next thing he knew, he was deep asleep, letting exhaustion take over all parts of his body.
Letting his mind rest from everything that had happened within a span of a day.
The only thing that woke him up from his deep sleep was the reminder of picking his boy up from the office.
"Chan?"
Sitting on the floor and playing with the toys that were given to him, the little kid that was waiting, ever since the sun began to shine, jolted up and rushed to the bed where the man was laying down looking worn out.
"Papa!" His voice echoed inside the four walls of a dim room.
"Hey, Baby." Donghyuck forced a smile, patting the boy's head and began playing with his soft locks. His gentle and hoarse voice soothed the kid that waited for him to wake up. "What time is it?"
Still holding on to the toys he was playing, Chan answered and purposely sounded like he was scolding him. "No time! Mister Daddy said no tell you! You will work. No work for you!"
Oh, how much Donghyuck would die to skip for the day. He didn't want to see his boss' face after crying inside his car.
"Chan, you should stop calling him that." Donghyuck let out a yawn before he began to lecture the kid about it. "It's going to make him uncomfortable. Uncle Lee will do."
"Mister... Lee?" The boy tried to mimic what his Papa would often call the man that they were talking about.
A tired laugh was heard coming from Donghyuck. He then nodded his head. "That too. Better, even."
"But..." Putting his toys on top of the unfamiliar bed, Chan showed a frown as he was starting to get confused as to what he's being taught by different people. "Mister Daddy said it's okay."
"Okay about what?" Rolling his body on the bed, Donghyuck rubbed his eyes before glancing towards the window that somehow, magically, changed its structure and design. Thick and blackout curtains covered the sunlight from getting inside the room.
Since when did he change his blinds to curtains?
"It's okay to call him Daddy." The kid continued to explain. "He said he doesn't mind."
Calling his boss whatever was the least of his worries right now. With his eyes adjusting the light inside the room, Donghyuck pushed his body to sit up as he scanned the area with his mouth open and brows meeting in a confused manner.
