"He took care of me when I was sick." Donghyuck stared at himself at the mirror upon dressing himself up.

It's nothing.

"But he offered me a ride home." He argued to himself.

It's nothing.

"He complimented my watermelon scented perfume." Clasping the buttons from his dress shirt, Donghyuck brushed a hand through his hair to fix it.

It's nothing— but how is it nothing?

"Ahh!" A minute of fixing his hair, Donghyuck ruffled it back to a mess in frustration. "Mark Lee!"

Such an asshole! He isn't just a red flag, he's the cautionary sign itself.

Is this his way to fool people and embarrass them? Lead them on and then break their heart?

"When I catch you! Mark Lee—"

"Papa, why you so early?"

Wait. But on the other hand, what if his father misunderstands? How can Mark get away with the idea of them raising a child? The kid regarded him as the other parent in front of that terrifying man— which is his own father.

"What if..." Donghyuck let out a gasp.

What if Mark couldn't think of a way out and had to lie that it's both their kid? It's going be like those cliché movies he watched before. To the extent of his knowledge, he knows how these rich families work. Mark's exemplary family background with generational wealth is no exception. They're willing to go through mountains and boulders in doing everything just to protect their image and reputation.

With an irreversible problem like this, they have no choice but to— Donghyuck covered his mouth to hide that flattering grin on his face. "We're probably going to have an arranged marriage!"

What happened to agreeing that Mark is a caution sign?

A pair of stubby hands slapping the body mirror and shaking the reflection startled Donghyuck, taking him away from the fantasies he was having.

"Weird shit!"

Donghyuck began to panic at the new phrase he's hearing from the kid. "Chan! Where did you learn that?!"

The boy let out a loud laugh, amused by his reaction. "Uncle Five! Uncle Five called Uncle Ootah weird shit!"

"Gosh, my baby!" Donghyuck crouched down to match their heights, pulling the boy for a warm embrace. "It's so wrong of me to leave you with them!"

"It's not." The little kid showed a pout. "I like Papa's friends."

"Really? Papa's friends from work are troublemakers!" Donghyuck uttered out as he fixed the boy's hair that he flattened from hugging him too tight. "From now on, you should get used to Papa's friends like... Uncle Le— No, not Chenle. Uncle Na! Yes, Jaemin loves kids!"
