I have a lot of non-Christian friends. And I know, you've heard about this Bible verse saying "Do not yoke with unbelievers" right? But Jesus also said in Matthew that He came for the unrighteous. So, just like Him, we have this responsibility to preach the Word of God and win them over their wordly lives. We are actually accountable if we let our brother/sisters (spiritual) to stumble in their walks if we have the capability of saving them from damnation but did nothing about it. I, myself, have this burden to share the Gospel but is guilty of not putting it into action. That's why being a coward one, I decided to use my "hobby" to share the grace of God instead.
I've been sharing most of daily experiences in my facebook account. (I know, right?) Since most of my friends are online 24/7, I thought this will be the best way for me to communicate with them. So yeah, everyday, I always check my facebook account and thanks be to God, some of them are responding or at least they "like" it. For the past few days, I noticed this particular person who's been liking my post. He's always in my notification bar, actually. At first, I thought he was a Christian but, no. He's a transgender. So I was like, "Alright, I don't have the right to judge but..."
Ok, so you believe in God but you still walk in the path of the unrighteous. You still dwell in the sin of the world. You do not repent and you mock the weak and the poor. You still have that haughty eyes, lying tongue, a heart that devices wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evils, hands that shed innocent blood, a false witness who pour out lies, and a person who stirs up dissension among brothers. Don't you know that God hates these type of people? (Proverbs 6:17-19) Dear brethren, I appeal to you that we may turn our ways from the world and its sin. Make level paths for our feet and take only ways that are firm. Do not swerve to the right or the left, keep your foot from evil. (Proverbs 4:26-27) How can someone say to his master, "I am your servant." if he serves and follow someone else's order? Likewise, how can we say we are God's servant if we do not follow His law? Let us cry out to God that we may be able to find courage and strength to fight our weaknesses. Let us confess our sins and repent. Surrender to Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. And all of us will be called an OVERCOMER.
"What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save him? Suppose a brother/sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to him, 'Go, I wish you well; keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about his physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." -James 2:14-17
"You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that---and shudders."
-James 2:19
