Chapter 7- "The Attack."

Once cleared by Dr. Olendkize I went to Lissa's room. She smiled as I entered her room. 

"Hey you." She says.

"Hi." I say softly.

I also saw Mason here and Eddie Castile- who's Mason's best friend. 

I eyed Lissa warily. "What's going on?"

Lissa smiled and said, "I know you have been upset about things.. Even if you don't tell me I want you to know that you have us if you do want to talk about it."

I nod and sat on her bed. "Thanks, I guess."

Lissa smiled at Mason. "Rose, will you go out with me?"

I did a double take. "W-what?" Lissa just laughs at my reaction. "G-go out with you... I-I.." I stammered. So not fucking cool, Lissa. I thought. Why would she not tell me this was coming?

"I need time." Then before I could burst into tears or have a panic attack I went out of Lissa's room and down the hall to the school's Chapel.

Dimitri had came here all the time for his life and to think about what had happened in his life. His sins.. Now that I'm here I think about Him... Ugh. God. I loved him. It wasn't that it was his age or any of the bull crap he had tried to pull on me. I knew he loved me. He had too. So why was he leaving? Why would he leave me, in general.  

I  heard something on the outside of the chapel, and it was that reason I finally stopped thinking of Dimitri. I slipped back into my guardian mode and moved to the Chapel's door and looked around the corner. I leaped out and saw a Strigoi.

Surprisingly it was a little tiny thing, but that didn't fool me. I punched at it's leg and sweeped kicked it off of it's feet. He hadn't even considered someone being in the chapel probably. I grabbed my silver stake and plunged it into his heart. I sat back and caught my breath. I pulled the stake out of it's heart and ran for the main building. 

"Strigoi are on the campus grounds."  I shouted into the building, needing to get Guardian Petrov.

Alberta came to me and looked alarmed. "What did you say, Hathaway?"

"Strigoi!" I said and looked outside to see if anymore was there.

She nods and got the other guardians and they went out and fought. I ran out with the silver stake and impaled strigoi. But then I stopped. There was one Strigoi that I didn't think I would find. Dimitri..
