The next couple of days passed by with me visiting Lissa and trying to figure out how in the world I was going to convince Dimitri to let me go. But on the other hand, did I really want him to let me leave? Or did I just want to stay with him and be his own little personal blood whore. Even though I'd let Lissa drink from me, but well, that was a whole different matter all together.

After a while Dimitri came back into the room with damp hair ends hanging by his chin. His red- tinged eyes scanning the room as if to see if everything is still intact. He had a towel wrapped around his waist, which was the only piece of clothing that was visible. My heart pounded inside of my chest as I looked at him, head on.

I sat up on the bed, crossing my legs. "I thought Strigoi couldn't take showers?"

His red eyes flicked toward me, and a cruel smile crossed his lips. "That's just a myth, Roza."

I ran a hand through my black curls, which, by the way, felt very greasy. "Can I take a shower?"

He nodded and then easily said, "If you promise to not jump out of the bathroom window, then yes, you can."

"The only problem is that I don't have any clean clothes." Let's be honest, I wasn't about to put back on the same clothes that I wore right now back on. They were dirty and grungy.

"I'll get you some new clothes while you're in the shower, Roza."

I couldn't help it. I laughed. "How in the world are you going to go to a shopping place without anyone thinking your weird, Comrade?"

"I can't believe you don't trust me , Roza."

"It's not that I don't trust you, but no offense, you look monster- like. People will start to talk."

He sighed and then smiled. "I have many ways to get what I want, Rose."

I shivered at his words. "You're going to use compulsion on them?"

He smirked cruelly, like he thought it was a good, evil plan of his. But if I had learned anything from watching his face when he smiled, it always lighted up his face. Always .But now... It didn't do that this time. If anything, it only made the red in his eyes glow redder. Which was so frightening to see.

Right then, I jumped into Lissa's head. She was fine, which I already knew that, by the bond. She sat in a black room,it was cold. She rubbed her hands on her arms, trying to get warm. At that moment, I wished I was there. So that way, I could reassure her that everything was fine, but it wasn't. Because I was't there. A guy in blue came in and grabbed Lissa's arm, pulling her up. But Lissa wasn't going without a fight. She thrashed in the guy's arm, yelling for help. But the guy knocked her out of consciousness, making me feel enraged with fear for her. Fear of her dying. I instantly pulled out of her head when something breathed against my neck. Dimitri.

I instantly struck out at his jaw, making my impact a little bit harder than expected. He reared back a bit, snarled with rage."What the hell, Roza!?"

I bit my lip as he snarled at me. Like the monster was busting out from him. It terrified me. I took a few steps back, waiting for him to kill me or torture me. But he didn't. He just paced the room until he was calmed down. I take this opportunity to say, "I'm going to go take a shower."

He didn't say anything as I went to the shower. Dimitri was right about one thing there was a window in the bathroom, but I told him that I wouldn't try to escape. And when I promise something, I keep my promises. As soon as I jumped into the shower, I breathed a sigh of relief. It felt so good to take a shower and to do my hair afterward.

I came back to the room and I had to sit in my towel til Dimitri came back with my clothes he had promised me. But I was alone, or I assumed I was. I took the time to detangle my hair and blow dry it, and then I arranged it in little curls, and I saw it on the bedside table of my bed, a note from Dimitri:

Rose,

"Went to get your clothes, and I left you some food in the kitchen. I also got you this."

Love D.

I frowned down at the note and saw beside it a blue sapphire necklace with an engraved R on it. I smiled and shook my head. Silly comrade. I thought as I put it on. It was very dazzling. The fact that Dimitri had never given me anything was very rare for him. I remembered the little tube of Lip Gloss he had brought me on my first day as Lissa's guardian. That was the only time he ever had gotten me anything.

He came back with a plastic bag, from name brands store. I smiled a little as I saw him. He gave me the bag, and I gratefully took them and went to the bathroom to change. I came back out in a pair of blue jeans and a red tight plaid shirt. I smiled at him and came to hug him. "Thanks, comade."

He wrapped his ice armsaroundd meand huggedd me back."Anytime, Roza."

I looked around as he pulled back. "So, I guess I should update you on Lissa.." I pause,  trying to get all my thoughts together. "Whoever you have holding her, comrade.. They just knocked her out of consciousness. She's still alive, but they knocked her out. Why, Comrade?"

A strange look crossed his face. But before he could say anything, a knock on the door startles me out of my gazing of him. I go to the door, and what shocks me is that Adrian Ivashkov is at the door.
