VOID
----
"ANYONE HERE?" Mickey shouted through the fog. Every now and them he would jump as swirls of veins pulsating with darkness would swirl past him in moody blurs. He was still getting no response. And yet he chose to follow the veins for the heck of it. They all seemed to be leading someplace else, and perhaps a.way out of this blank and somewhat depressing void was an option...
So he surged on, determined.
Bendy, however, was quite the opposite...
====
I can't stay.
I can't keep up.
I can't.
Can't do anything...A voice whispered into his head, something unintelligible and yet reassuring. He wanted to keep going. But to where? Strings of moodiness followed his tracks. They whipped around him, and nothing could be seen. He remembered the painful snipping of a string inside. And then- BOOM. He was here.
He did not know what "here" was, however he did want to find the "there".
It was a great "what", wondering when he would be back in a world of truth and lies. And here, here he was alone. Empty of truth nor lies. And he just wanted to find refuge in the strange pit of absence.
He thought he heard a voice, somewhere far back in the distance behind. Who was that? What was that? Perhaps it simply didn't matter. And maybe it was just a mirage of his own thoughts, the only thing that occupied him in the abyss.
It was devastating. He heard and turned around, but the fog was so thick it was hard to make out even himself in the madness.
He felt jabs go through his chest, prickling him and making his soul hand burn ferociously.
He heard one more call and turned hesitantly backwards, still seeing nothing. But the voice that came close to making his heart jump was still faint.
For a moment, Bendy was shocked. That voice with a tint of high-pitch.
It sounded like...
Mickey.
He was so desperate to see him that he put one step forward, and then the other. He hoped Mickey would wait for him...

"Bendy! Oswald! Minnie?"
He felt weirdly alone, which was weird because he was almost always around his fellow cartoons.By the way his heart was being lit like a fuse, Mickey could not help but begin to speed walk along the path of the veins once more.
"BENDY?" Mickey gasped as he fell, looking up at a helping hand.
Bendy dispersed the fog, but his eyes were beginning to drip more ink.
"Mouse, outside we are both in trouble."
Mickey grudgingly accepted his help and took the demons' hand.
His expression hardened, which was not a very good look on the mouse.
"We need to get out of here...Now."
Bendy nodded. But he put a had onto Mickey's shoulder. The mouse flinched.
"What are you...?"
Bendy put a finger to Mickey's mouth and did not answer.
Bendy summoned his own soul, and the mouse's eyes widened.
"Oh no. Bendy-"
"Your soul can easily be fixed. If we merge, maybe... Just maybe we'll both be stronger. We could be better. We could..."
"Bendy, no."
"...Why not?"
" Because I don't want to die inside."
