Lorraine's POV

  I woke up and stare up to the ceiling, the cold air around me was giving me chills, the needle in my hand made them swollen and numb. One of my sibling is sleeping beside me, his head is on the bed while he's sitting on a chair. I pull the book away from his hand and I was right, it's Ray. I smiled and helped myself to sit properly on the bed, the moon outside the room is shining so brightly, reflecting on his face.

"Such a beautiful creature to even exist." I whsiper to myself and brush my fingers on Ray's hair.

"Hmmm." I heard him hummed but I just ignored it.

   Ray is one of the obstacle that I still need to escape, I don't really like giving so much information to him, he already knows too much. He's like mom, he almost know everything. I stop brushing his hair and turn to my right side as the door of the room open. A white hair was shown as Norman slowly enter the room.

"How do you feel?" he ask and sat beside me on the bed, he kissed my forehead making me smile.

"Better, I just feel a little weak." I told him and lean on his shoulder, he wrap his right arm around me and it feel so warm.

"Mom said that it's fatigue, have you been working too much lately?" he ask, I shook my head and bite the insides of my cheeks.

  I am, mom is giving me individual tests, it happens during midnights Norman, I just skipped my test on the night that you escaped with Emma, because I was too worried and now, she's also suspicious of me.

"I guess it's just that, I'm always helping mom with the laundry, bedsheets are really heavy you know." I said and nudged his shoulder, he laughed and I blushed a bit, I always want to hear him laugh, I always want him to feel happy.

"Don't worry, I'll help you from now on, I will finish cleaning the dishes very fast and then I'll help you with the laundries!" he said, I giggled and pinched his cheeks, stretching them out.

"You don't have to, I have Gilda and Anna to help me, also, there's mom beside us." I told him, he nodded his head before we felt Ray moved beside us.

"A-Are you okay now?" he ask and brush his eyes using his hands, I blushed from the cute sight.

"I am." I said and bite the skin of my lower lip.

"Good, I'll go now." he said and stood up before turning his heel away from us and going out the room, all of a sudden, I feel my heart ached with

  sadness and disappointment.

"He's been staying here with you for an hour, you know that were not allowed to stay here with you." Norman said, I smiled to him before pulling him with me to lay on the bed.
