I don't remember

You've been gone for 6 months now
Though it feels more like 6 years
It's funny, I don't miss you much
It feels like you were never here

But I know that I adored you
I loved you beyond words
But I've forgotten what you felt like
Whilst not resting in an urn

I remember what you looked like
I have pictures on my phone
But the memories with you
Are the only thing I own

I was sad the day it happened
Since then I haven't shed a tear
Because ever since you left
It feels like you were never here
