It's like something possesses me
This force behind my lungs
It turns me to a monster
When I try to bite my tongueI bare my teeth and clench my fists
Preparing to attack
I feel my fangs grow in
As spikes sprout from my backI growl and snap at every word
Like I'm a hungry bear
Letting out shouts and roars
Unfamiliar to my earsOnce the dust has settled
And I see what I've done
I wipe dirt from my hands
And mop up all the bloodI'm back to my human form
My normal, timid self
I'll apologize profusely
Still, impressed by myself
