I've carried you for sixteen years
Now almost seventeen
But you stopped taking care of me
You hate me now, it seemsI am your bones that support you
I am your beating heart
I don't know why you hate me
Or why you'd even startYou compare me to others
And comparing isn't fair
So, your thighs are bigger
Why do you even care?Millions of cells work tirelessly
Just so you can breathe
But you're not even grateful
And you take it out on meSo hate me if it feels good
Which it never will
Just know we're stuck together
After all, I'm your vessel
