Chapter 7

Unknown POV

I punched Alejandro, " You'll pay for what you did to her you pig!"

Alejandro was tied to a chair, his face horrifically bloodied from the hours he's spent in here, in the basement of my home. 

"Ok, forget it, Kaden, Luna isn't dead!" He coughed up a small amount of blood, trying to spit at me and failing horribly. 

"What did you just say?"

"Luna is still alive. As in not dead."

"Bullshit. I watched you kill her."

"You watched us fake it. I can even show you a picture of what she looks like now. She isn't that different."

"What makes you think I'd believe you'd do that?"

"She didn't want to raise her child in the gang world. She asked me for help."

"Prove it." I cut the ropes and looked at Alejandro expectingly.

"Give me my phone and I'll show you what she looks like now. I can even show you a picture of your son if you'd like."

"My son?"

"You didn't know she was pregnant?"

"I knew she was pregnant, you dimwit. I just didn't know it was a boy."

I handed Alejandro his phone to which he brought up a picture. The girl in the picture was indeed Luna except it looked as if she'd dyed her hair blonde. 

The next picture he showed me was of a little boy, a toddler, with darker skin, like my own. His hair was light brown like Luna's and his eyes are a dark brown, like mine. 

"Where are they?" I asked. 

"I don't know. I sent her off with a family a member of my gang knew but she's moved out. She doesn't tell me a lot. "

"You're in contact with her?!" I began to raise my voice again. 

"It's been a while since we've talked. Maybe a year. We were talking through emails but I got busy." Alejandro motioned to me, referencing how much we'd fought since Luna 'died'.

"Clearly. I need those emails."

"Why?"

"I need to talk to her. In person. I can use those emails to find her and we can talk."

"I can't do that. I promised Luna I wouldn't help you find her."

"Either you give me the emails now or I kill you and get the emails that way. Emails or your life, make a choice." Alejandro wrote down his email and password on a sheet of paper, "Good. You'll stay here until I verify these emails, then you'll be a free man."

I left the basement and walked upstairs, locking the door behind me. 

"Jayce, log into this email, find the emails from Luna and track her down. I need this done ASAP."

"I thought Luna was dead?" Jayce's eyes showed confusion. 

"Apparently, according to Alejandro, it was staged," I showed him the picture of Luna, "she's still alive and raising my son on her own." Hopefully.

"I'll get that done right away."

I'm coming back for you Luna. And this time I won't let you go.
