We're In This Together (Colby Brock Fanfiction)

Chapter 1

"Hey, Mira, are you ok with me inviting a few friends over?" Kat, my roommate, asked, walking into the living room, putting her dark brown hair up in a high ponytail.  

"When?" I asked. 

" In about an hour or two," She said.

"Sure, as long as they don't wake Lucas from his nap."

Let me just give you a basic rundown. I'm Mira, I'm a nineteen-year-old single mother of a three-year-old boy, Lucas. Yes, I'm a teen mom, but the story isn't as simple as it seems.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure they keep it down."

She clicked a few buttons on her phone before it started ringing and she walked into the kitchen. I sighed and grabbed the remote, turning on the tv. I put on Spongebob, because I'm still a child, and covered myself up with a blanket. Lucas was taking a nap so I figured it would be the perfect time to rest, and possibly take one myself.

Soon enough my eyelids started getting heavy, but before I could fall asleep, a knock came at the door. I groaned and reluctantly got up and answered the door, revealing two guys.

"Yes?" I asked, looking at the two guys.

The guy on the right had chocolate brown hair and bright blue eyes, while the guy on the left had light blonde hair, not quite sandy blonde but still light, and blue eyes. 

"Is Katrina here?" The blonde asked, moving from one foot to the other. 

"Yeah, come on in, I'll go get her," I motioned for the guys to come in and walked away to go find Kat. She ended up being in her room, which was located right next to mine.

When we got back to the living room, she introduced me to the guys.

"Mira, this is Sam, my boyfriend," she pointed at the blonde then the brunette, "and that's Colby."

The two guys waved at me and Katrina spoke again, "guys, this is Mira, my roommate."

I waved and sat back down on the couch to watch some more Spongebob. 

"Spongebob?" Colby asked with a chuckle. 

I nodded and laughed in response before looking back to the screen.

So, I don't know if you guys will want a prequel to this to go more in-depth into Mira's past because I'll be honest, this story will not go fully into detail, and what I have in mind for Mila's past could be very complicated to try to put into one story. So if you read this and want a book that goes more into detail with Mira's past comment and let me know and will gladly make a prequel that goes more in detail. 

Also, I promise the chapters get longer and better quality the more you read. It was just very hard for me to figure out what to do for the first couple of chapters while I was trying to get this story started.
