5 hours. 5 fucking hours I spent on a plane with Kaden. I'll give it to him, I don't think I've ever hated 5 hours more than I hate the ones that just passed. Getting off the plane was even more of a nightmare as, for whatever reason, Kaden seems to think that I'm incapable of walking.

As we were getting ready to leave the plane jet he attempted to pike me up, to which I responded, obviously, negatively.

"Don't touch me," I growled lowly.

"What has gotten into you?" Kaden asked, sounding slightly offended.

I ignored him and kept walking, purposefully walking faster than normal in order to put a little bit of space between the two of us. Kaden sighed and it seemed like he was giving up, at least for the time being.

---

Back at the prison- I mean Kaden's house, I attempted to get comfortable. At least as comfortable as possible in the current situation. Kaden made an attempt, an extremely sad one, to get me to stay in the same room I had prior to my supposed death. But, after I made it abundantly clear that I didn't want to be anywhere near him, he left me alone. Now I'm sitting in a random vacant bedroom in his house weighing my options.

I have no clue how I'm going to get out of here. I have to find a way to convince Kaden to free me, but I don't think any amount of begging and pleading will work, even with the soft spot I know he has for me. I know Jayce won't help me. That's a given. All of Kaden's "colleagues" were so loyal to him they'd give their lives for him, Jayce included.

I'll have to figure something out. I have until this pregnancy belly starts showing to have a plan in motion. Kaden will be pissed if he figures out that I'm pregnant, especially because he knows for a fact that it wouldn't be his.

Just then, there was a knock on my door, snapping me out of my thoughts.

Without me having to say anything, Jayce cracked open the door and looked at me through the crack, "The doctor Kaden said you needed is here."

"Ok." I nodded.

The door opened further to reveal the same woman who took care of me when I was pregnant with Lucas.

"Layla!" I immediately jumped up and hugged her.

She looked a little different since I'd last seen her, but that wasn't surprising, she's always dying her hair crazy colors.

At the moment, her hair's an ombre blue, starting as a darker shade and lightening down to her ends. Layla's pretty tall, unlike me. She's around 5" 10', a solid 5 inches taller than me; she's quite thin, but not to the point of being unhealthy.

"Hey, Lu. Man, it's been a while, " Layla spoke into the hug.

"Oh, I know. But please, call me Mira."

"Oh yeah, the whole..."

"Yeah."

Soon enough we were kicking Jayce out of the room and sitting on my bed.

"So, what's up?" She asked.

"There aren't any hidden cameras here are there?" I asked, looking around the room.

"No, why?"

"You have to promise not to tell Kaden ever."

"Pinky. What's wrong?"

"I'm pregnant again, " I admitted, looking up to Layla.

"Now I understand why you don't want Kaden to know. Were you dating someone before you came out here?" Layla knew enough about Kaden to know how jealous and possessive he really is.

"We still are dating. He's actually taking care of my son right now. I still have my phone so I'm going to stay in contact with them until I can get out of with hell hole." A saddened look crossed my face as I thought back to Colby and Lucas. The thought alone was enough for me to pull out my phone and check for notifications. Sure enough, there were dozens of texts from Colby:

"Have you landed?"
"Did you land safely?"
"Are doing alright?"
"Homesick?"

Just to name a few.

I quickly answered all of his texts and turned back to Layla who was beginning to speak.

"So, I actually have some prenatal vitamins in my bag you can have. Try to keep them hidden from Kaden, the last thing you need is the stress of him losing his shit. I check on you a little more often than a normal doctor would, just because of the stress and emotional trauma of being away from your boyfriend and son, which could cause some issues with the pregnancy that weren't an issue the first time around, " Layla walked me through everything I really already knew. I just hope I don't have any issues because of stress.

A few minutes of speaking later, Layla left me alone to call Colby and Lucas.

Phone call

Colby: Hello?

Mira: Hey, Colby.

Colby: Mira? How are doing?

Mira: I'm alright. Been better. I just finished talking to a doctor, the same doctor that actually helped me through my pregnancy with Lucas.

Colby: What did she say?

Mira: She gave me some prenatal vitamins and basically told me to try not to get super stressed cause it can affect the pregnancy.

Colby: Does Kaden know?

Mira: No. I plan on hiding it for as long as possible.

Colby: Ok. Lucas wants to talk to you.

Mira: Ok, put him on the phone.

Lucas: Mommy?

Mira: Hi baby.

Lucas: I miss you.

Mira: Aww I miss you too Bud.

Lucas: When are you coming home?

Mira: I'm not sure, baby, but I'm working on it.

I finished the call with Colby and Lucas and began thinking. Maybe if I try to get close to Kaden again, not romantically, but just as friends, I could convince him to let me go.

If not, Alejandro may need to step in.

This might be harder than I originally thought...
