1st of November, 2014

I tossed and turned all night. I couldn't even think about going to sleep after what happened during and after the party. Aisling wanted me. I wanted Aisling. It was so right but it was so wrong. She was my employer and I, her employee. My head was hurting and I wanted to cry because I was so confused. I haven't felt like this towards a girl in the longest time.

When the clock hit 5:30 AM, I was out like a light. I needed to get proper rest if I had to talk to Aisling during the day. We needed to sort out what ever we started last night.

A few hours later, I woke up with my head pounding and my eyes heavy. I looked around the room and sighed. I forgot I was sleeping in Aisling's bedroom and not my own. My eyes fell upon the digital clock sitting on the bedside table and I gasped. It was 1:30 PM. I shouldn't have slept in. I groaned and rubbed my eyes but something caught me off guard.

The house was completely quiet. Nothing could be heard. Not even a distraction sounds like the telly or the radio. It was absolutely silent. Everyone definitely must still be asleep.

I pushed myself out of her bed and found a clean towel in the closet. I went to take a quick, hot shower in her bathroom and managed to find an extra toothbrush in one of the drawers. I didn't want to cause a ruckus in my bedroom because Aisling was asleep so I stayed in hers. I put my boxers back on- seeing as they were clean when I picked them out of my closet last night- and exited the bathroom.

I stopped right in my spot when I saw Irena sitting cross-legged on the bed. She looked up at me and smiled slightly. "I can see your goosebumps from here. Why don't you lay down under the duvet?"

I nodded and quickly obliged because I was freezing, "How are ya? Do you have a hangover?"

Irena covered her face and let out an exaggerated sigh, "Yes! This headache is going to kill me." She peeked through her fingers and sighed again, the faintest smile appearing on her lips. "Those hickeys are cute. Did Aisling give 'em to you?"

I knew there was no point in covering them since she already saw but I unconsciously pulled the duvet higher up. "Uh, yeah, but we didn't have sex or anything. I know it was wrong but it felt... Good. The feeling I got last night was amazing."

She nodded, "And you've fallen for her? Or are in the process of falling for her, am I correct?"

"Absolutely. I am falling for her but it's totally inappropriate. I can't..."

"Shut up. If you both want it, go for it. Who cares if you're working for her? You can't stop yourself from liking someone."

"Very true." I nodded. Irena sat at the foot of the bed and leaned against the footboard. "I wanted to talk to you about something."

"If it's about my attitude yesterday, then that's why I'm here to talk to you." She said, quietly.

"Can you please explain why you were being so rude to me? I thought you'd loosen up on me since I asked Zayn to make a move on you already. Which he did but that just seemed to piss you off and make you hate me even more."

"I don't hate you. And what ever advise you gave to Zayn, I'm really thankful because now I have the best boyfriend in the world. It's just..." she trailed off before shaking her head and looking at me, "I'm just really angry about the fact that you can even think about leaving your sister at home in that condition. I don't know what happened but when I saw all the hospital equipment, it made my blood boil. I had to watch my sister die in a hospital, with all those machines around her. It just brought up memories that I didn't want to remember."
