Introduction of Ethan Coolner

Love, something that was always present in the Coolner house that was until of course Nacy Coolner found out that her husband's 'business trips' out of town were nothing but a sham to see his lover in the town near by. This of course led to a nasty divorce and as fate would have it Nacy got half of everything and of course the kids. The money did not matter much to George Coolner, he was rich but he did dearly miss his kids.

Ethan and Alissa Coolner. Alissa she was a bright girl, top of her class though she was the youngest of the two. She was very outgoing and happy never failing to brighten a room. She was still quite young when the divorce happened so she was not affected by it unlike her older brother Ethan who was 9 at the time. She was as her mother described as 'perfect' when she wasn't drunk as skunk or faking to uphold the Coolner name.While Ethan was seen as 'no better than his bastard father'.

Ethan was the opposite of his younger sister, he once was a bubbly, happy child but soon after the divorce and his mother's drinking started he was more quiet and reserved. So reserved that one would never really notice him at school his wild, curly head of black hair would just blend in with the crowd and if you did notice him the dark cloud hanging over him would send you looking the other way. He found his love in literature and his brief moment of euphoria in the books he would hide behind most of his teen years.

All he knew was being alone, for most of his childhood his mother only ever showed affection to his younger sister. But one day he met her, Khleo Hems and he wasn't alone anymore. She was his light in darkness everything he ever needed, she was shy but had a big heart and alot of love to give. She was the most beautiful girl he had ever laid eyes on and he was deeply in love with her. But love doesn't last.

It was spring when they found her, she was hanging from the ceiling fan in her room. She had left no note for Ethan nor her family. Ethan being Ethan did what he had been raised to do for most of his life, he took her death on his shoulders letting the weight crush him. When you would tell him it wasn't his fault, that he shouldn't be so hard on himself he would look you dead in the eye and tell you "I should have known, I was to fucking caught up in my own problems to recognize that the girl I was madly in love with was dieing slowly in front of me! I should have been a better boyfriend." ,he would walk away leaving you only feeling pity for the broken 20 year old boy. So young yet already wrecked by the world.

Time would pass and the memory of Khleo Hems along with it for everyone but Ethan. He could never forget her no matter how much time would pass. He slowly withdrew more and more from social interaction, only attending school every other day of the month. His mother never paid it much mind as always but his sister was worried about Ethan's mental state, she would fear the worse for her older brother. One day her fears became a reality when she found him in the study of their home passed out, one hand clutching a picture of Khleo on their first date and in the other a empty bottle of pills. That day was the day Ethan Coolner tried to kill himself.
