It had been two weeks since Stiles had brought Rose home, and in those two weeks no one had been able to figure out what had happened.
Noah had welcomed her home, he had to admit to himself that he'd missed her around the house. He also noticed a change in his son, with Rose around he seemed happier, happier than he'd seen him in a while. They'd eased her back into normal life, luckily it was winter break and Stiles had more time to spend with her before they went back to school.
When Stiles began to tutor her again, it was like everything he'd taught her was gone ... he began to worry that he was the reason she couldn't remember, that maybe he'd done the spell wrong again. He could tell something inside of her mind knew him and his friends, but the memories were gone.
Lydia, Malia and Kira had visited her too, but she didn't remember any of her memories with them. The rest of the pack visited, and none of them seemed to be familiar to her. Even Deaton was puzzled by the whole situation, however, Stiles was the one who was least worried about how or why Rose was sitting in front of him at the dinner table right now. He was just glad she was back.
"So, are you ready to go back to school next week, Rose?" Noah asked, "it's okay if you're not, I can phone the principal and let her know you're not ready."
"It's okay, I'm ready." Rose mumbled through a mouthful of fries, which Stiles laughed at.
Noah smiled, "if you're sure."
"I'm sure... besides I'll have Stiles with me the whole time." Rose said as she smiled over at Stiles, her eyes lighting up as she stared at him for a moment before quickly looking away.
"I'll be right there." Stiles nodded in agreement.
"Okay, but if you ever find it overwhelming, you know my number." Noah said.
Rose nodded, "it's in my emergency contacts."
A knock at the door disrupted their family dinner, "I'll get it." Stiles said as he got up and headed to the front door.
Noah took this moment alone with Rose to talk to her one-to-one, "I'm glad you're back, Rose. You may not realise it but you make my son extremely happy... and I'm sure himself and his... your friends will do everything to get your memory back."
"Thank you, Noah... your son makes me happy too," Rose said as she blushed slightly, not meeting his eyes, "and I'm sure they will do their best."
Over the past two weeks, the whole pack had showed her pictures of their time together, told her everything they'd been through together and all the fun they had. Rose enjoyed hearing their stories, but they made her slightly sad about the fact that she couldn't remember them, and she had a feeling she may never recover her memories. Deaton had also tried his herbal remedies, but they just seemed to make her gag rather than remember anything.
When Stiles returned from answering the door, he looked around for Rose.
"She excused herself and went up to her room. I think she's tired." Noah said as he began to wash the dishes.
Stiles immediately hurried upstairs, taking the stairs two at a time.
As he got closer to her room, he heard quiet snivels. Stiles felt his heart drop as he knocked on the open door lightly. He opened the door slowly and walked inside, "hey..." he said softly as he noticed Rose sat on the edge of her bed, clutching her pillow and trying to hide the tears in her eyes.
