Yo! If you see the name 'Dwayne' ignore it! I changed the character's name to Dione, but I was tired when looking for all of his mentions, so there might still be a few stragglers later on in the story😅.

Talon

Finally, my turn. What took you so long, Natalie!

Author: Ugh, what? I could be sleeping right now!

Felix's chapter was so long! Way longer than Kinsley's. I looked at the word count, so don't deny it. What was he talking about for that long anyway?

Author: Uuuhhhh..... Don't worry about it. :) How do you know the word count?

*sarcastically* I count each word. What do you think I did? I looked at the bottom right corner where it shows the word count before publishing! But it's fine. At least I still get my own chapter, and describe someone. Let's just get to the good part and skip the lunch scene. Not much happening there. We ate Lasagna and Caesar salad and everything. It was delicious! Kinsley and Ryder got over their stupid argument about if Crackers was a demon or not. I swear, those two will fight about anything to the death.

They were so cute when they were angry together. Oh yeah, Kins would never admit this, since she is outwardly frustrated with him most of the time and it's only chapter 3. But I like to give spoilers, so let it be known, she has a huge crush on him. I don't know if he feels the same way. I mean, what kind of sister would I be if I were to pay attention to my brother's feelings?

Author: I... hate... you!

Oh, shush! I'm narrating here!

Author: I'm regretting all of my life choices that have led to the point that one of my characters is telling me to shut up.

Good. Anyway, as we started to clean up, or more like Kinsley and Ryder were. Felix and I were in the sitting room. He was laying down on a brown leather couch with his head in my lap so I could finish massaging and detangling his hair. I giggled and teased him whenever he made a content sound. Which was a fair amount of times. I guess I do my part-time job as his hair detangle-er well.

We had the TV on and were watching some cooking show, which made me hungrier. Even though I already ate two minutes ago. My favorite part about these kind of shows is how rude the judges are. And to see chefs mess up terribly.

I started yelling at one of judges to kick a chef off the show, but then Felix reminded me that they couldn't hear me. After half an hour of this, I finally fully detangled his hair. It may look so soft and taken care of most of the time, but brushing it normally would take like fifteen minutes. To be fair, I took my sweet time trying. But he let me as long as I didn't pull on his hair too hard. And I didn't. I may still want revenge for the whole front seat thing, but I wouldn't take it out on his hair. It's innocent in all of this and I'm not that cruel.

Even after I finished with his hair, Felix still laid his head in my lap. When he did that, I felt all warm and fuzzy inside. Ryder and Kinsley were somewhere in the house. I didn't know nor care. I was too focused on the TV. You might be wondering, what's with the house? Or not, but I'm going to tell you either way.

My brother doesn't have the cleanest record. He "used to be" a hacker. One day he "supposedly" hacked into the Federal Reserve Bank. He didn't take or mess with anything. He only wanted to see if he could. Then all of a sudden someone on the other side was locating his computer location, so he ran. Luckily he wasn't living with the family at the time, so we were safe. Him, on the other hand, needed to find a new place to stay where they would never find him... And he chose this run down shack near the beach. It wasn't as nice inside when he first got it, but he did some redecorating.
