No, I didn't murder anyone! Sheesh. I wouldn't have been so nervous if I had. Murdering requires confidence.

The only reason I know that is because of the whole being an FBI Agent thing. Not because I'm a murderer.

Ugh, I had nothing to do. I was so bored this Sunday. To be fair, I was bored every Sunday. But today was practically unbearable.

You know why? Because I didn't even have the option of hanging out with my best friends. They were too busy cuddling or something. You know, gross couple stuff.

I'm not mad at them or anything, though. I can't blame them for wanting to spend some romantic time together. What else would you expect from a couple. Plus, I still hung out with them. It's not like they cut me out of their life completely.

Talon and I still spent way more time together on average than her and Felix or me and Felix. So it's fair.

But I was still bored without either of them.

That left only one thing to do. To go to work on a Sunday when it wasn't necessary. Yeah, I was that desperate for something to do.

It took me about half an hour to get ready and head to the building. That's record time for me. I got dressed in a pair of dark ripped jeans and a plain light grey t-shirt.

There were a few people working, so the place wasn't completely abandoned. No matter what day it is, holiday or not, the FBI building is never left completely empty. Holidays, there is significantly less people, of course. But still, there's not a complete off day for everyone. Mr. Slaton stayed here almost everyday. Sometimes even nights, so he's got the place covered.

How I know that? I got bored one night and couldn't stop thinking about a case. So, I came back late at night to look at the file and dig through the FBI database. To my surprise back then, Slaton was still in his office in the exact same position from when I left; at his desk, on his computer.

That's the same sight I arrived to when I went to the sixth floor to check on him.

Of course I checked on him. I may still feel awkward around him because of the stupid party game-thing— even though nothing happened—, but I still wanted to talk and see him. You know, for work purposes.

If I'm being honest, the want to see him may have increased slightly after the stupid party. Okay, it wasn't stupid. We fulfilled our goal of getting Nathan and Ryder together, so it was worth it.

Speaking of which, during the lunch I spent with Ryder, Felix, and Nate the day Talon was sick, I got to talk to him about it. After we got through an argument about the diamond industry, I asked Ryder and Nate how the new relationship was going. That simple question got Nate blushing, which could easily be seen on his light skin tone. I think Ryder was also blushing, but it was harder to tell with his darker skin tone. But I'm just gonna say that he did.

Apparently, Ryder took him on a date that included taking a stroll through a really nice park while a band was playing outside.

My only comment to that being a squeal to show how adorable I thought that was. God, I think I am spending too much time with Talon. I don't squeal.

Then the rest of that lunch break was the new couple holding hands and blushing immensely as Felix and I teased them playfully.

I mentally sigh. That was a good day.

Anyway! Back to the present!

I went to check on Slaton in his office to find him at his desk and on his computer like always. "Do you ever leave the Bureau?" I asked, closing his office door behind me.
