I'm going to kill Hunter. That little shit got me sick! That is the only time you'll hear me call another person a bad word, I swear. I'm just pissed off because I hate being sick. Sure, it was nice to lay around doing nothing all day, but not when I feel like dying.

After texting Kinsley, I didn't have any other source of entertainment. Social media sucked, so I wasn't going on any of that. Netflix hadn't released any new shows or movies, so that's out of the question. Hulu, I already finished all my favorite shows on there and I'm too lazy to look for others. That left one option, Wattpad.

I was in a awkward place in a story that I was cringing so badly that I needed to take a break and read something else. So I pulled up some adorable stories. Some even more cringe-y stories. Some... inappropriate ones. I read some weird stuff on there, that I'm not going to specify, but it was really interesting. It kept me entertained for five hours, that's for sure.

What brought me back to reality, other than my throwing up, was Felix sneaking up behind the couch and startling me.

"Whatcha reading?" He asked looking over my shoulder.

... I may have flinched. Actually, I screamed at the top of my lungs and held my phone to my chest as if it was my life. The scream was so loud, Felix stumbled back, clamping his hands over his ears.

"Oh god!! What the hell?" He yelled at me, still covering his ears.

"Sorry," I whimpered, feeling bad. "Did I murder your ears?"

He hit himself in the ear a few times, wincing, before shaking his head. "No, it's fine. I shouldn't have scared you," he apologized.

After I scooted over on the couch, making room for him, he sat down so he was behind me for me to lay on with his legs on either side of me. Resting his head on my shoulder, he hummed peacefully. We sat in comfortable silence for a while before he got curious again. "So what were you reading?"

"Trust me, you don't want to know," I assured him.

"Yes I do. Can I see?" He persisted.

With him holding me, I just couldn't say no. "Fine. Here." I unlocked my phone and handed it to him.

The screen was already on the story I was reading. I knew he read the first line when he tensed behind me. "You know what? I think you're right. I don't want to know," he chuckled awkwardly as he handed my phone back to me.

"You brought it on yourself," I shrugged, not really worrying about what he had seen. It was pretty tame compared to what else I read. I turned on my side on him so I could cuddle into his neck and talk to him better. He wrapped his arms around me again once I was situated.

"How was work today?" I sniffled.

"Uh, good. Nothing much happened other than establishing Ryder's reputation with some hacking criminals would take notice of. You know, that showed he was, I guess, back," he explained. "Had lunch with Kinsley and your brother. Hunter bumped into me, spilling my water on me. I low-key threatened him. Then I did some boring paperwork, and then I came here. What about you?"

I groaned. "Boring! I've done nothing other than eat, throw up, sleep, and read! I'm lonely."

He squeezed her briefly. "Well now I'm here to keep you company. What do you wanna do?"

"Mmmm, talking's fine. I feel like I'll die if I stand up. Plus I don't want to get you sick, so kissing is out of the question," I whimpered again.

"You're worried about getting me sick, yet you're fine with laying on top of me and cuddling?" He chuckled when I nodded against him. "What do you want to talk about?"

I mumbled an incoherent 'I don't know'. Then I got the most brilliant idea. It was so good to me that I pushed my head off of Felix enough to look into his eyes. "Ooh! What Hogwarts house are you?"

He rolled his eyes at my eagerness to know. "Guess we're doing this then. You're not going to like it, but I'm a Gryffindor," he admitted.

He's a what?

I scrunched my eyebrows together. "Seriously? Great, now I need to break up with you," I complained jokingly.

He rolled his eyes once more. "Oh really? What are you then?"

I sat up sat up straighter in order to flip my hair behind my shoulder confidently. "I'm a Hufflepuff!"

He scoffed. "Why is that not surprising?"

"Shut up!" I whined, going back to cuddling him. "What about secondary house? You know, if you weren't in Gryffindor, what would be your house?"

He thought for a bit. "Hufflepuff, actually."

"Yay! Now we don't have to break up," I giggled softly. "My secondary house would be Ravenclaw. I know, such a surprise," I said the last part sarcastically.

He chuckled at that. "It shows when you actually try to be serious at work. You're a hard and smart worker. Who I know I can trust, since you're a Hufflepuff." He sounded sincere, it made me want to hug and kiss him forever.

"Aw, that's so adorable. Well, you are also a hard worker, always doing your best for everything and everyone. I know I can trust you too, and since you're a Gryffindor, I'm going to need you to fight some dragons for me." I gave him a lingering kiss on the cheek. "You may be a Gryffindor, but I still love you." I did love him, and I wanted him to know it. That was perfect timing, even though I was sick. Either way, I'd say that was a very nice way to tell someone you love them.

That must have shocked him because he froze and looked down at me with wide eyes. "What?"

"I love you," I repeated, giving him a quick peck on the lips.

His shocked expression turned into a heart melting grin. "I love you too, Talon," he reciprocated sincerely. In that moment, I didn't even care if I was sick or not. He told me he loved me too! I kissed him on the lips. Not a peck or anything. Like a real kiss. It was like heaven. I have no other way to describe it. Feeling his lips against mine, being with him in general just felt... better than words. I love him.
