Part 13- A Weird, Yet Accurate Dream

"Come on!!! Before the line gets too long!!" Talon yelled, pulling my hand and forcing me to follow her. "We need to be in the first row before some idiot child gets it!"

I stopped her before she ran onto the ride. "Talon, you're pregnant with a child," I reminded her. I don't know what was happening, but for some reason it was common knowledge. Her stomach was huge with a nine month baby inside her.

She rolled her eyes. "So? That doesn't mean I want kids to steal our seats. Come on!" Without even waiting for me, she jumped into a seat in the front row. We were on the new Tigress ride that just opened apparently.

I climbed in after her. "Are you sure you're fit to be on this thing? You're nine months pregnant."

"Trust me, it's fine. There's absolutely no way nothing can happen. If so, do you really think they would have let me in the line?" She pointed out.

"Yeah, because you threatened them with a selfie stick," I responded.

The bars on our chests and lap locked into place. "Welp, too late now. Ooh, let's take a selfie!" She pulled out her selfie stick and phone to snap a picture. Quickly, she posted it on Snapchat with some stupid caption. Wait, Talon doesn't have social media.... She thinks it's stupid.

~Times skip to after the ride~

Talon was doubled over in pain. "I told you it was stupid to go on a roller coaster while pregnant!" I yelled at her as I helped her walk. "This is your fault!"

"I'm not the one with the male body part and who doesn't know how a condom works!" She yelled back at me. "Just get me to the hospital!"

Author: Lilly ( CinamonApplsauce ) and I were in our last class of the day, and our teacher gave us a free period. We were talking about our stories, which led me to plead to her for help because I didn't know how to start it. So... we came up with that dream together, laughing as loud as we could but still not enough to annoy the teacher. Okay, anyway, hope you enjoy the actual chapter.

I woke up early in the morning after that... weird dream. Why the hell did I have it? Talon wasn't pregnant, at least not yet anyway. Who knows, maybe in the distant future.

Nonetheless, it still seemed pretty realistic. Not in the sense that it was like real life, but Talon and I reacted in the same way I would expect if that situation were to ever arise.

It had been two days since our first 'I love you's. Currently, I had just woken up from that weird dream. It took me a moment to take in my surroundings, which shouldn't be the case since I had spent the last two days here. The walls were a dark grey that, with the black furniture, made the room look a little smaller than it was. But it was definitely still huge. Despite the darkness of the room, there was a good amount of pink, light blue, and yellow around too; on a painting of a puppy and kitty, jewelry, and the large shelf of books that was by the window.

I felt something stir against my body. I looked down to see the dyed red hair of Talon. The one girl who wasn't family that I loved.

Wait-

I mentally gasped. Her roots were showing. This was the first time I've ever seen her natural hair color. As if she sensed me looking, she moved her head so the top of it was against my neck. Where I couldn't see her hair. After the mental gasp, I outwardly chuckled. She was so cute.
