Ro's POV:

Stressed, I was stressed and worried all at once but other emotions such as anger, curiosity, and hostility. I wish I knew how Al was doing but he probably didn't remember a single thing about me. As sad as the thought was I had to focus. I had a new group and they had all put me as the leader, I had to lead a group of twenty including myself and non of them would know how to calm me down if I had an anxiety attack. I was doomed and never did I ever think I would truly be separated from my best friend.

I knew they made sure Ben wouldn't die and that he was now in the slammer, they would quickly send me in and make me heal him apparently, so much for an easy day. My new group were all worried but they didn't know that I was trained by WCKD to be an assassin, even at my young age. So that's why I was in black combat boots, long sleeve shirt and jacket, and black jeggings with my hair up in a ponytail. I knew WCKD was going to try and make me seem like the bad guy, never a good thing. I knew for a fact he would be guarded by a few people so that's where my hand-to-hand combat helps.

Going over to a small platform which was similar to the box made me painfully aware on how I was getting over there. Sending me in a small platform and into the box so when it was opened I had to make sure I left the guys in the dust. Maybe catch a glimpse of Al, but who knows. I began going up and I could here the newbie alarm ringing as I put a scarf over my mouth so they couldn't identify me. Quickly jumping into the box when I saw an opening I had landed. Just in time too.

As soon as the box opened I could practically hear the gasps, "Who are they?" I jumped up and landed infront of them and bolted to the Slammer. "SHE'S HEADING FOR THE SLAMMER!" I heard Newt yell. I heard running tracks behind me, three to be exact. Minho and Tommy had to be two so who was the third?

I was a good distance away from them when I climbed up a tree. I looked down to see my first two guesses were correct but the third one made my heart stop. When the heck did Al get so fast? Newt came as fast as he could and joined the group of three, "Where the bloody hell is she? How did she out run you three?"

"She was heading for the Slammer but I think she's trying to trick us," I heard Al say. He knew how to stratify plans really well now, I knew he still worked like the assassin he was made to be. He turned to look up and met my eyes. His eyes widened, "Ro?"

Newt's POV:
Al seemed deep in thought and he turned, looked up at the tree. His eyes growing wide, "Ro?" He almost whispered out. My head snapped up and I saw the girl that put us in the dust, it made sense, Ro was fast. "What are you doing here?" Ro quickly climbed down to a slight lower branch and sat on it, taking off her scarf so we could see all of her face.

"They set me up," Ro all but growled. "WCKD, the Creators, call them what you want! They set me up saying you remember nothing of your training."

"None of my-" Al started but Ro jumped down and put her pointer and middle fingers together and touched his forehead. "Why can I only remember my training? Nothing else? Do you not want me to know Alex?!" Ro flinched at the name.

"You know for a fact I don't like this line of work but WCKD granted me things I can give back. Training was a big one for us since what we became. Putting assassin's in a maze, they're idiots!"

"What's going on Ro? Why were you heading to the Slammer?"

"Ben." The young girl said shortly. "The Creators want him, blah, blah, blah. Look I have a job to finish." She went to leave and before anyone could react she got out a knife and threw it straight at Al. The boy caught it with ease and looked at her with a raised brow, "Testing your reflexes."

"If I missed?"

Ro didn't look at us, "Well it would have hurt. A lot. Al, you need to let me go and do this errand, you should know every minute I'm late-"

"Is adding onto minutes of torture. Go Alex."

Ro was walking away but she turned to look at all of us, "My name's Ro, not Alex. Alex died when all of this started." I was shocked that she was keeping a straight face, not even her eyes betrayed her. "Love you guys." She ran away toward the Slammer and Al played with Ro's knife.

It was moving in his hands with ease as he looked at the three of us older kids. "She's going to kill him, Ben I mean."

"What! Why?" Minho almost yelled.

"Ro and I were trained together as assassins for WCKD or as you call them the Creators. Ro was better at it and I was more of a planner because of them."

I was silent, my little sister was an assassin and working for the creators. "So she was a bloody spy all this time?" Al shook his head.

"No, she was in the same position as you guys. She had no memory and lived in the maze, we could talk telepathically but I think that ended when I got sent up. I really don't remember anything but training." No one spoke, even the wind was still and the trees didn't speak but that all broke with a terrible, frightening cry of pain and terror. Minho and I were about to run until Al stopped us, "Don't. It's ill human but it's what she was taught how to do."
