Newt's POV:
I never imagined Ro to kill someone, yes she had a dangerous temper but she never seemed like that kind of person. How much do these people affect people? The way Al had stopped us began worrying me as well, if Ro gave him the ability to remember his training with her what else could she bring back? I mean she clearly knew her way around the Maze and Glade but she seemed off. I turned to Al, "We need to stop her, she just killed someone!"

Al shook his head and looked up at me and avoided looking at Thomas, "What makes her and I so different? We grew up together, trained together, and even killed together. Just because you heard that scream doesn't make it any different! I probably heard similar screams like that a lot and I'm not even thirteen! So what makes us so different, Newt?" I was silent, the kid had a good shucking point.

"We still need to find Ro," Thomas spoke up. "We might be able to help her."

"I don't think we can help her, she's here on an assignment that means she works for the Creators. She's dangerous so we need to find a way out, if she knows it we get her to tell us but for now we go back to planning. Deal?"

"Deal." We all agreed and we walked back but Al looked nervous. "Why is she following us?" Al muttered.

"She's following us?" Thomas said in surprise. "How can you tell?"

"I can feel her stare," is all he said, what did he remember?

"She's watching us?" Minho stated, I could tell he felt betrayed. Ro and him had first met each other and they became good friends. Minho let his guard down almost immediately after he met her. Soon enough we were bombed with questions as soon as we got to the main group. "Everyone get to your shucking jobs!" Minho yelled and no one disobeyed Minho, he looked ready to kill right now. I saw something in the distance, a figure on the top of the wall, Ro had yet to leave.

She never did say she was going to leave, I wanted to have her come down and hug her. I wanted to tell her everything was going to be okay and no one would get her. I knew I couldn't promise that however. I turned to look at Tommy who seemed at a lost. Him and Minho had returned not that long ago from Tommy's first proper run. He looked exhausted, I gave a sime nod of the head and he left toward the forest to get away.

You just couldn't help but think something was going to go down hill soon. Al approached me, "Why is she still here?" It took me a moment to realize he was talking about Ro.

I looked over to see her silhouette still there, she was clearly watching us. "She didn't really talk to us, just you. Maybe she wants to make sure you're okay. After all you were friends?"

He shrugged, "We were friends but there seems to be something off, her eyes held fear, didn't you see?" I shook my head, I remembered her showing no emotion. "I think the Creators are keeping her into some sort of trap, it makes no sense though! Shuck! I'm a strategist and I can't figure out Alex's plan!"

"Who's Alex?"

He looked at me with sad eyes, "Your sister, here she's known as Ro. I understand what people meant now when they say pain can change you. I just never imagined it to get to her, you know? The only thing she was ever afraid of was losing close friends and Cranks."

I was about to question what a Crank was but it was too much, it was a tired look on the boy's face. "Go to bed, we all need our rest." I gave one last look to my sister hoping to see her there but she was gone.

Al's POV:

When I went to sleep I had the worst dream, it was a dream of nothing but myself. My eyes snapped open and I heard murmurs and I got up quickly to see a lot of people looking at the sky. When I got out of Homestead I stopped dead, the sly was grey and the sun simply vanished. The sun can't just disappear, it's not logical. Great now I
sound like- wait who did Ro keep calling me when I became based on logic- oh right! I sounded like Spock, it was something that Ro used to talk about a lot. It hit me like a ton of bricks, this wasn't the real sky, it was a dome. The real sun had been hidden from us, but why?

I noticed Minho going to get Thomas for the run, I felt a chill up my spine and turned, absolutely nothing was there. I blinked as I looked at the inside of Homestead and backed away, this was wrong. The ending has been triggered, be careful, Al.

Ro! What's going on?

I don't know, but I can try helping you from here. I've made it so we speak telepathically without the Creators knowing. For now be careful and watch Thomas, he's a key to getting you out.

What?

No time! Got to go!

Ro wait! I waited for a reply for a solid minute, non came. This was bad and it was just about to start getting worse.
