"Pass the ball!" Declan shouted and I ran to the side to get the ball from Noah. I caught it and jumped to throw it to the ring. My team won and I gave Zion and hi five for that.

"You really suck." Justin said to Ian completely pissed.

"Sorry dude, basketball just not my thing." Ian smirked as he drank his water bottle.

"Cameron sucks too." Declan said and I laughed.

"Listen, Hastington.. Don't ever.. ever.. be in one team with me again." Justin pointed at Ian and Ian just chuckled.

"That's your luck, Cesborn. You're quite lucky to get me." Ian teased Justin.

"Boys!" We all turned to see Axel standing at the door.

"Come outside." My dad said as he gestured. We all followed him out.

"You owe us drinks." Declan said to Justin and Justin rolled his eyes. We walked outside the training base and yes.. I think they will make us run for an hour.

"I hate running." Jace hissed.

"Ribs for lunch?" I asked him.

"I can eat 5 ribs." He said and we stood side by side. My dad instructed us to run around the base for 10 laps, well that's quite nice of them. My dad blew the whistle and we started to run.

"Race?" Justin asked Declan and yup those two always been competitive to each other. Declan agreed and they started to run like a maniac.

"I won't waste my energy for running." Noah said.

"Me neither." I said because after this.. we will have another training so I won't run my ass off. Declan and Justin ran side by side but still racing with each other.

"Faster, Caleb!" My dad said and I turned to him raising his eyebrows.

"You're getting fatter! I will test your body after this.." Well that hurts.

"Werk werk werk." Isaac teased me by twerking in front of me and I kicked his ass until he fell down.

"You asshole!" Isaac protested.

"Don't mess with me then!" I gave him a middle finger. After running 10 laps, we walked inside to examine our bodies by doctors that our dad's hired to keep our health in check. Everyone of us need to be healthy and fit because you never know what will happen. Not to mention that we have to learn a self-defense so yeah..

When we walked in, I saw Serena being examine. She was wearing a sport attire and she looks hot. I drank my cold water and put it on my forehead to prevent me thinking weird things.

Our dad and our grandparents have been doing this for years because they want us to keep fit and healthy so we can live longer. We have our own doctors that will keep us in check with our meals and exercise. They will tell you right in front of us and the parents if something wrong.

"Mr. Cesantio." Serena's doctor called Morris and Morris walked to him. He told him about Serena's condition and I raised my eyebrows completely curious. Morris looked worried and Serena sighed. What's wrong?

"Caleb." I turned my dad and he gestured me to come because it's my turn. I walked to my doctor and he started to check on me from my blood and my condition. After 30 minutes of checking, I walked out and found some of us still waiting for their turn.

"Where's Serena?" I asked Justin.

"She's outside." He answered and I patted his shoulder. I walked outside and found her standing looking at the pool blankly.

"Hey.. you okay?" I asked and she turned to me nodding.

"What did the doctor say?"

"He told me that I need a lot of rest because my liver and stomach don't look that healthy." She said and that shut me down.

"Have you been drinking alcohol lately?" I asked and she sighed.

"A little and I think I just need a lot of sleep to heal back." She said as she turned her body.

"Serena.." I called as I turned my body around and she turned her head to me.

"Hmm?"

"Wanna hangout tomorrow?" I asked.

"Sorry, I'm busy." She said and I know she's avoiding me. It's quite obvious because she can't have a long conversation with me and she can't even look me in the eyes.

"Do you free tonight?" I asked.

"Look, Caleb.. I just need time alone these days, can you  give me space?" She asked and I grabbed her wrist.

"I wanna make things right between us, Serena." I said truthfully.

"We're friends, Caleb. You make that pretty clear so can you just stay away from me because you're crossing the line now." She said and I put my hand away from her.

"Sorry."

"Stop worrying about me okay? There's nothing wrong with me." She said and then she walked inside. I walked inside and walked towards the bathroom. Morris stopped me and he said..

"Can I talk to you?" Morris asked and I nodded. I followed him out and he turned to me.

"Caleb, I know you're trying to fix things with my daughter but I think you should give her time. She has been drinking a lot lately and she got insomnia that cause her body to be weak. Ever since you left, she's never been herself and when you comeback.. she starts to act normal but sometimes she's having a stress. I don't know what's going on between you two but please don't hurt my daughter again. She already went through a lot." Morris said and I nodded.

"If you do.. like her or maybe love her then I will give you the permission to get closer but if you don't have feelings for my daughter.. then don't go near her again."

"I.. I like Serena, I just don't want to hurt her again by asking to be in a relationship. I thought she needs space and time so that's why I left in the first place." I said truthfully and Morris nodded.

"Give her time and then.. you can make a move again." He said and I nodded. He turned his body away and walked to the door to walk in but he stopped and turned his head to me.

"Caleb, she always loves you.. ever since you and her screwed each other until now so I want to remind you please don't take it for granted." He said.

"Thankyou." I said and he walked inside.
