Chapter 29 - Preggo

I kept holding on to Serena's hand all the way to her house. She said she's so nervous to talk to her dad about the pregnancy. I bet her dad won't protest about me proposing because I already asked for his permission a month ago along with her mom so he already see that coming but not the pregnancy.

"I'm so nervous.." Serena said and I patted her hand trying to calm her down even though I'm nervous too. Morris might beat the shit out of me.

When we arrived at her house, we got out and her mom walked out from her house. Serena hugged her mom and Autumn smiled to me. She even walked to me giving me a big hug too. I ws afraid that she will kill me with her own hands.

"Let's go.. your dad is already waiting for you." Autumn said as she held Serena's hand going inside. I gulped nervously and followed them inside.

Autumn lead us to the dining room and she's already prepared us a lot of food from salad to steaks along with the french fries. Morris walked to the dining room and gestured me and Serena to sit. He saw the ring and he turned to me nodding. I smiled briefly to him and even walked to him to hug him.

I don't want to be impolite even though I grow up with him and his family around.

"Let's eat." Morris said and I took my fork and knife to cute the steak but Serena..

"Dad, I'm pregnant." She announced and I closed my eyes waiting for Morris to raise his voice and kill me instantly.

"I already know." He said calmly. Me and Serena looked at him disbelief.

"You knew?" Serena asked.

"Do you think I don't know what my kids are doing?! I'm quite disappointed that you didn't tell us sooner, Serena. Why do I have to know from the packages that the doctor sent you?" Morris looked at her seriously and I held on her hand tightly to assure that she will okay.

"Sorry, dad."

"You're not a teenager that gets pregnant because you're reckless. I was worried and I was relieved when I found out that your brother was there to be with you!" Morris hissed and he sighed.

"Sorry, dad."

"How many weeks?" He asked in a calm tone this time.

"8 weeks." Serena told him and Morris got up from his heat. Serena cried and hugged him. She buried her head to her dad's chest. Autumn smiled looking at me and mouthed 'it's okay' to me to calm me down. I nodded and turned back to Serena again.

"Now.. let's eat. You have to eat a lot for that baby." Morris said as he patted Serena's head.

"You my boy.. If you don't take care of her, I will kick your ass and kill you." He said as he gestured slitting his throat. I nodded.

"I will.. I promise." I said and suddenly Autumn gasped.

"You're engaged already? He proposed?" Autumn asked Serena and she nodded.

"Oh my god!!" Autumn turned to me and she squealed. She walked to us and hugged us big time. After that we just continue to have lunch and Morris had to go back to the office quick. We both too because we have meetings and events after this. Later on that night we have a dinner together with the Gold Lifes where we will announce the pregnancy and the engagement.

"Caleb.. I want cheesecake so bad." She said as we're on our way towards the office.

"Now?"

"Yes.. like now now." She said and I nodded. I drove to the cheesecake factory and got out from the car alone. I got inside and bought the cake. I walked back to the car and got inside giving Serena the cake.

"Can you buy me.. a carrot cake before coming home tonight?"

"Babe, we're having a dinner together and we can order carrot cake at dinner."

"Right.. completely forgot about that." She said as she's munching on her cheesecake.

"I'm getting fat.. ugh!" She hissed as she rubs her tummy.

"Cute fat."

"How dare you?!" She hissed coldly and I turned to her in horror.

"Honey.. I didn't mean to.. you know. You're cute and beautiful even though you're-"

"I'm what? I'm preggo?!" Shit.. I said something wrong.

"Uhmm.. nothing."

"I will go training tomorrow! I gained 10 pounds already!" She cried.. she literally cried. She put her cheesecake back and cried.

"Serena.. no no honey. You're still skinny as hell. You're still rockin' that body." I said quickly.

"I hate you! I can't believe that you're calling me fat!" The preggo's hormones are coming on to the surface now. I took a really deep breath and let it out.

"You're not fat babe.. I'm sorry.. I was just joking."

"I have my double chin right now!!" She said as she looked at the mirror.

"No no.. it's not a double chin." I said panickly.

"What is it then? Triple chin? Flower horn chin?!" I'm gonna die before we arrive at the office.

"No honey.. I.."

"I'm just joking." She said laughing and I turned to her disbelief. I bet that was the preggo's hormone, I can't believe that it can give her a dual personality in seconds.

When we arrived at the office, we walked in together like usual. She leaned to me and smiled wickedly. I know somethings off with her right now.

"Babe.. do you think I'm still sexy?" She whispered.

"You are so sexy.." I said because I don't want to get in trouble.

"Really? Do you want to have a quickie with me?" She winked and I was blown away. I can't believe she's asking for a quickie now.

"Now?"

"Yup.. in my office." She bit her lips and winked at me. She took my hand and rushed me towards the lift. Everyone was looking at us weirdly and as soon as we got into the lift.. she kissed me hard.

I think I kinda like the preggo hormones..
