Chapter 30 - Shopping

"Baby.. I'm home!" I walked out from my room and saw Serena walking into the apartment with lots of bags with her. I helped her carry some of the bags and looked at it confuse.

"You went shopping?"

"Yes.. I went shopping with mom and Zion earlier and I got a lot of things. I got this for you.. and then this." She gave me a tie and a suit.

"Thankyou but.. why are you buying all of this?" I asked because this is quite confusing. She squealed suddenly and took the white shopping bag with her and dragged me towards the sofa.

"I.. bought baby clothes." She squealed again and I looked at her speechless.

"But we still don't know the gender yet."

"I know.. I know.. but I just bought 2 because they're so cute and fluffy!" She screamed and she showed me the clothes. My heart melt right away because it was damn cute! She took her jacket off and tied her hair up suddenly.

"Babe.. I really want a pizza right now." She said looking at me seriously.

"Huh?"

"Pizza.. and a mac and cheese." She smirked and I automaticly pulled out my phone. I asked my secretary to buy it for me because I don't want to leave this reckless girl alone.

After 40 minutes of waiting, the pizza and the mac and cheese arrived. Serena ate 7 slices of pizza and a box full of mac and cheese. Yes, she ate a lot but still she's not gaining a lot of weight. She's been working out too.. a healthy one for the baby too.

"I just message the doctor if we can check on the gender tomorrow and he said we can!!" She squealed as she hugged me.

"That's great honey.. what time should we go?" I asked.

"We can go at 10. I want to know as soon as possible!" She squealed and I kissed her cheek.

"Okay.. we'll go there at 10 then." I said and we continued to watch netflix. Not long after that, she fell asleep. I caressed her head and picked her up to the bedroom. I laid her down and put the blanket on her. I walked out to the living room again and looked at the baby clothes.

My heart got excited knowing that tomorrow we will know the gender. I looked at the baby clothes intensely that I cried. I'm so excited to be a dad and sometimes I want the baby to come out faster because I can't wait to give them the whole world.

Caleb Lemiere is settling in this early age was the fact that I didn't see it coming. I mean.. I'm happy but it didn't go as I planned. Even though it isn't, I'm still so happy.. or I can say that I'm happier.

If it's a girl.. I will spoil her with everything and he will be my princess for the rest of her life. If it's a boy.. I will teach him how to be a proper Lemiere that will lead the empire when he's older. Okay.. why am I getting so emotional? Sometimes I thought that I'm the one who's pregnant not Serena.

That night.. I fell asleep on the sofa with the baby clothes on my lap.

I woke up with the smell of coffee. I opened my eyes slowly and looked at my phone to see what time. My eyes widen when it shows 9.37. I got up and ran to the bathroom right away without trying to find Serena. I got into the shower fast and yes.. I never took a shower that fast in my life. I got out and quickly put on my clothes. I walked out from the bedroom and found Serena cutting apples.

"Babe.. let's go." I said as I kissed her cheek.

"Morning.. and I can't believe you slept on the sofa. I was looking for you at night."

"Sorry." I said and she chuckled.

"Drink your coffee or else you will go crazy through the day." She said as she put the apples on the zip bag. She took her bag and gestured me to go. She ate her apples on the eat to the basement. We got into the car and go straight to the hospital.

"I'm so excited." She said as she intertwined her hand with mine.

"Me too." I said as we walked into the hospital from the back door because we don't want to catch attention from the public by going through the main entrance. The guards helped us to sneak inside and we successfully got in.

The doctor already waiting for us and she told Serena to lay down on the bed for him to do the ultrasound. We checked Serena's condition from time to time but we don't often check the ultrasound so it's been a month since we checked the ultrasound.

"Ms. Cesantio.. you're having not only having one baby. You'll be having twins." My eyes widen when the doctor showed us that there's 2 heartbeats instead of one.

"Oh my god!" Serena squealed and she smiled at me.

"Can you tell the gender already?" She asked.

"Yes.. do you want to keep it for your gender reveal or you want to hear it now?" The doctor asked and I let Serena decide.

"I wanna know it now." She said and she raised her eyebrows looking at me.. I nodded agreeing.

"It's two boys, Ms. Cesantio." My eyes widen knowing that it's all boys and so was Serena.

"Wow.." I said because I was speechless. The doctor pirnted out the results and he congratulated us.

"Two boys?!" Serena repeated.

"Yes.. they're healthy as ever." The doctor added and we thanked him before he leaves the room. Serena got up and she looked at the result speechless.

"This is so exciting.." She said looking at me and I nodded.

"Can't believe we will have a twin.."

"We're going baby clothes shopping." She said as she tooj my hand walking out from the room.
