Chapter 31 - Life

6 years later..

"What happen?!" I ran out to the garden and found Arthur laying on the ground with a bloody knee.

"What did you two do?" I asked Kyle and Kevin glaring.

"We're just playing football." Kyle said and Kevin nodded but I know that they kicked the ball to Arthur.

"What happen?!" Serena rushed out from inside with a robe wrapped around her body.

"I fell off myself." Arthurt said but I know that he's not the type that will fall by himself. I looked at the twins suspiciously and they both sighed.

"It was an accident.. Kevin kicked the ball and I was supposed to get it but it hit his back and made him fall." Kyle said. I picked Arthur up and walked inside with Serena still outside telling the twins.

I treated Arthur's knee and he looked at me sadly. He suddenly cried. He hugged me and I patted his back slowly.

"What did you brothers do to you? Did they bully you again?" I asked. Arthur here is a very smart boy, he's 2 years younger than the twins but he managed to get into the same grade so they're like triplets but Arthur is actually smaller than them. I know the twins don't like that fact because people telling praised Arthurt more than them.

We all love them equally but often the twins bullied Arthur because of jealousy. That's why Arthur loves to hangout with their grandparents more instead hanging out with us. I feel bad for him because he's such a sweet kid.

"Now go apologize to your brother.. or else you two will have 2 weeks full of training instead going with us to the cruise!" Serena said to the twins and Arthurt was still crying on my shoulder.

"There.. there.." I patted his back and suddenly someone bursted the door.

"Where is my grandkids?! Your grandfather brought your favorite lava cake-" My dad stopped when he saw the situation and my mom even confused seeing Arthur crying on my shoulders.

"What happen?" My dad asked.

"It was just a little accident." I said and Arthur automaticly ran to his grandmother's arms finding comfort and that broke my heart.

"Twins.. come with me." My dad suddenly said and the twins pouted before walking into the guest room with their grandfather.

"Let me treat your wound first." I said to Arthur and he kept hugging his grandmother and I sighed. My mom treated his wound and Serena looked at me sad.

My mom gave the lava cake to her and Serena sat eith him talking. My mom walked me out to talk about Arthur and the twins condition.

"Honey.. I know it's hard with the twins and Arthur but you can't just give up. You have to teach them to share and to play together because if you let them like this.. they won't be in a good term when they grow up." My mom said and I nodded.

"Hangout with them a lot, don't work too much. They need your attention and with the fact that you and Serena keep working won't make the situation any better." My mom added as she patted my shoulder. She walked inside and let me think alone for awhile. I walked inside and found my dad and the twins came out from the room.

The twins cried in my dad's arms. He let them down and the walked towards Arthur. They apologized and the three of them ended up crying together. Arthur cried while he was munching his lava cake with chocolate all over his mouth. My dad walked to me and I turned to him wondering what kind of magic word did he say to the kids.

"What did you tell them?"

"Well.. the same thing that I told Chase and Isaac to stop bullying Athena." He chuckled and I looked at him disbelief.

"Be patient with them and spend a lot of time with them instead just giving them to me to babysit. I mean I don't mind because they're cute but still they have to stick to their parents more." My dad said and he patted my shoulder before joining the cry squat kids.

"Okay stop crying.. how's up for pizza?" My dad asked and they all raised their hands. My dad and mom gestured that they will bring the kids out leaving me and Serena alone. When the kids left, Serena bursted out crying. I walked to her and hugged her.

"Hey.. the kids will change. They will understand soon." I said as I patted her back and kissed the top of her head. She nodded.

"Listen.. they will change and we need to be there for them instead just leaving her with mom and dad. We have to stop being a workaholic." I said and she looked up to me nodding. I gave a peck on her lips and she wiped her tears.

Serena continued to get ready and so do I. We have an event to attend and we decided to let the kids hangout with their grandparents. When we walked down the stairs, the kids came back just in time. The shocking thing was that.. Kyle was holding hand with Arthur.

"Where are you two going?" Kevin asked.

"We're going to an event. Do you guys want to join?" Serena asked and I don't want them joining us.

"Can we?" Kyle asked.

"Sure." I said and they run upstairs. My mom and dad entered.

"Will the boys join you?" My mom asked and I nodded.

"Oh Serena, you look so.. beautiful." My mom said to her.

"Thankyou so much." Serena smiled.

"Well.. we'll be going then.. we have a flight to catch later on at night." My dad said.

"Where are you two going?" Serena asked.

"Italy."

"Okay then.. have fun." I said and they nodded. They hugged us once again before going and Serena walked back upstairs to help the boys dress up.

"Kevin stop splashing waters!" I heard and I can't help but laughed.

Well.. this is how my life goes.. have 3 kids and have a beautiful wife and still love her with all my heart.
