Chapter 40 - I Know Who You Are

MacKenzie's POV

Barry speeds into the cortex.

"I checked CCU, her apartment, and Jitters." Barry says. "Tracy's not in any of them."

"I'll bet you Savitar and Killer Frost are hunting her down as we speak." Julian says. 

"H.R., you were with Tracy last." Iris says. "How did she seem?"

"Rattled, Miss West." HR says. "Rattled, but I gave her a rousing and reassuring pep talk, so I think she's okay."

"Oh, that's why she left." Cisco mutters.

"That's not why look, I will have you know my book on motivational speeches, All's Wells that Ends Wells-" HR starts.

"Tracy is in danger." Barry cuts in. 

"You're right. Mack-Attack! Focus!" HR says.

"What?" I ask.

"Exactly proving my point that you need to focus cause you have no idea what's going on." HR says. 

"I know what's going on." I defend. "It's you who needs to focus." 

"We need to find her. Now." Barry cuts through. 

"Yeah, we gotta find her." HR says. 

"Where else could she be?" Barry asks.

"Oh! Why don't we start with her future hologram, right? That's that would give us insight into her psyche, no?" HR asks.

"Of course, yeah." Barry says. 

"That's pretty good." Julian admits. 

"Thank you." HR says.

They pull up the hologram. 

"She's cute." HR says. 

"This is creepy, right?" Cisco asks.

"Yeah." Julian says. 

"I find her charming." HR says. "Do you think you could screenshot a hologram?"

"Go back to that last one." Joe says and Barry goes back. 

"Yeah, there's another one like it." Barry says. 

"Whoa, whoa, look at that." Iris says, stopping Barry at one of the pictures. "Zoom in."

"Yeah." Barry says and he zooms in. "Eppur si..."

"Eppur si muove." HR reads off the hologram image. "Tracy, you blessed paramour of science.
Gang, I know exactly where she is."

"So you're saying that if we don't turn Tracy over to Killer Frost..." Iris starts.

"She's gonna kill Cecile." Joe says. 

"Correct me if I'm wrong, but Tracy is our key to finding Savitar, right?" HR asks.

"Yes, but what are we gonna do? We gonna just let Killer Frost live up to her name and kill somebody?" Cisco asks.

"Not if I have anything to say about it." Julian says. 

"All I'm saying is, we need to do whatever it takes to save her." Joe says.

"No one's gonna die, all right? We're gonna get her back. I promise." Barry says.

Joe's phone buzzes. 

"That's them. They're at the old Dressler Factory." Joe says. 

"Okay, we know where they are. That's something. So what do we do?" Cisco asks.
