I was left to my own thoughts when I got knocked out.

I don't know if that was a good thing or not.

So far I wasn't enjoying my experience in this world. I had almost died on multiple occasions, I was forced to commit murder to save myself and above all, i still had those questions that I couldn't find the answers to.

What year was it? Why was I in that sleeping chamber? Who put me there? Why is everyone attacking me?

But there was one question above all these which i wanted to know the answer to. That son and father got me thinking about my own parents. I had no memory of mom or dad, heck I didn't even know their names. Were they even alive right now?

And who was that human who saved me? Is he good or evil just like the robots? Are there more humans nearby?

"Hey, wake up" a voice commanded.

"I..i can't" I managed to say in my half conscious state. "My head..it's hurting so much."

"Dang it, that robot beat you up really bad didn't he?" the mysterious person asked.

"Yeah" I whispered. My vision was still completely obscured but I could feel myself getting better. Soon enough, I could see a little bit of my surroundings.

When my vision completely returned, I turned to look at my savior. He was looking at me, probably to check how I was doing.

He was definitely human, and he was pretty good looking too. He was a blonde, with his hair tied back in a pony tail. The strange human had blue eyes, fair skin and was wearing some torn jeans. The shirt he was wearing was in pretty bad condition too. The shirt was charred black and had no right sleeve. There was a huge rip right down the centre which slightly exposed his stomach area.

"What's your name?" I asked him curiously.

"My name's Sam, what's yours?" he asked back.

"Nico" I answered.

"Nice name you got there Nico" Sam complimented.

"Thanks, what happened back there?" I asked curiously.

"Well, you were getting you're a** kicked by a robot, and luckily I was there to save you. You were half dead when I arrived but I managed to patch you up abit" explained Sam.

"Thanks for saving my life back there, I appreciate it" I thanked, "I'm so confused by all this, why are there robots? Why were they trying to—

"Shh!" whispered Sam placing his hand on my mouth. "More robots are here, and we don't want them to see us."

I nodded quietly. I did not want to fight more robots. We silently crouched behind the wall, putting our hearing on high alert. I could hear the nearly silent creaking of the one, no, multiple machines. I got the odd feeling that these things were not like the robots I had encountered before. These sounded...bigger.

Sweat trickled down my cheek, my heart was pounding against my chest. The suspense was driving me crazy, this was just too scary for me.

For one moment I considered making a break for it and leaving Sam. I immediately chided myself for getting such a suicidal and selfish idea. I had a better chance of surviving in my current place than trying to outrun..whatever these things were.

A sudden screeching sound made me flinch in surprise. Those things were just on the other side of the wall!

"Oh sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t" I thought silently. "Please go away, please go away."
