"Nico's sleeping now" I whispered, looking in to her eyes.
"Good, what should our next move be?" my wife asked.
"Nothing for now, just let fate take it's course" I answered, examining the sharp blade of my sword, the same sword which I had used to slaughter 'her'.
"Of course husband" she agreed, also looking down at the long blood stained sword.
"For now though" I smirked. "Let's show him some pleasant dreams."
"Which one?" she asked, grinning sadistically.
"Any, as long as you cause him pain."

I opened my eyes to the familiar black cloud covered sky. Thunder rumbled, and lightning lit up the clouds.
"W..where am i?" I asked out loud.
No answer
I pulled myself off the ground and brushed myself off. At that very moment, a man rushed past me, accidentally pushing me over in the process.
"Hey!" I called out to him. "What's wrong?"
"The enemy is here! Run!" he shouted, turning his face around for a moment to look at me, and in that moment I saw the expression of pure fear on his face.
And then I heard a faint thumping coming from beyond the hills not too far off.
I tensed, and looked back. At first, I couldn't see anything, but then, robots came in to view. And there were not just a few dozen, no, they just didn't stop coming.
They were in the ten thousands at least.
"What are you doing? Run!" yelled the mysterious man, grabbing my arm and pulling me in the opposite direction.
We broke in to a sprint, running away from the swarm of robots which seemed to cover the ground completely as they advanced at a shockingly swift pace.
Not too far ahead lay a giant wall. And it looked built to keep intruders out.
Somehow I knew it wouldn't hold back the legions of machines.
"Let us in!" frantically yelled the person next to me. We were rapidly approaching the huge wall, but so was the enemy.
Two people threw down ropes from the top of the wall.
"Climb on!" the person ordered as he jumped on to the rope and began vigorously pulling himself up.
I didn't need telling twice, as soon as the rope came within jumping distance, I lunged for it. Grabbing on to the thick rope, I began to climb.
It seemed the men atop the wall had gathered around to help us climb up faster, because I soon realized that they were pulling the rope up as well.
We barely made it
I got to the top and was immediately handed a gun and knife by a man.
"You know to use these right?" asked the person who had ran all the way back with me.
I nodded, and he smiled. "Good, let's get to a good position."

As we sat, crouched in an old house, I examined my gun. It was a pistol, but I didn't know which model. One thing was for sure, it probably wouldn't do well against that huge army. That thought was enough to give me shivers.
"Don't be scared um, hey what's your name?" inquired the man.
"Nico, what's yours?" I asked, returning the question.
