Near Death

My eyes fluttered open.

"Ugh where am i?" I muttered, rubbing my eyes.

The first thing I noticed was the blue sky above me.

  "Wooow" I whispered in awe as I stared at the light blue sky. It stared back at me in a beautiful manner, keeping me mesmerized on it. It had a pearl like shine to it, with white clouds scattered all across it's never ending surface, like diamonds scattered in water.

  No cloud was the same. Some were big, some were small. Some were pearly white, others had a shade of light gray to them. It was so..amazing.

  I used both my arms to lift myself up slightly, so that I could better see my surroundings without actually standing up.

  There was an almost endless expanse of lush green grass, the land covered in random spots by...were those trees?

Oh my gosh, those were trees!

They were so beautiful.

  My eyes just stayed fixated on them. I slowly got up from my sitting position and walked over to the nearest tree in a kind of trance.

  It was as if some invisible force was pulling me towards that tree. I couldn't stop walking to it, and I didn't want to.

  A rosy scent dominated all my senses, leaving me in complete bliss as I approached the tree. That particular tree was huge in comparison to the rest. It rose up hundreds of feet and it's branches stretched out to cover quite a huge portion of my vision. Each branch bore fruit, which looked really ripe. The strange thing was, each branch bore a different fruit. Some had apples, some had bananas, some had mangoes!

   I reached for an apple hanging from the lowest branch, which was just with in arms distance. Just looking at it made me hungry, it's bright red color, it's almost perfectly spherical shape. I brought it to my mouth but then hesitated slightly.

Something seemed off

  I thought for a moment before discarding the thought. At that moment my stomach growled. Oh well, I could think later, after having this delicious apple!

I took a huge bite out of it.

  "Oh wow" I spoke with my mouth full. I was in complete bliss as the juices from the apple flowed through my mouth.

  My whole body fell limp from relaxation and I fell down on to the soft grass which cushioned my fall. I swallowed the apple piece and sighed in pleasure as I felt it travelling down from my throat to the stomach.

"Nico" I heard a soft feminine voice whisper.

What was that?

I decided to ignore it and closed my eyes.

  "Nico" I heard the voice speak again. This time I opened my eyes to see the most beautiful girl I had ever seen, well, the first, but..wow

  Her skin was fair, and she was dressed in just the most amazing light blue dress. It sparkled in the daylight like sapphires had been sown in to it. Her blonde hair gleamed like strands of gold in the sunlight as they flowed all the way down to her shoulders.

  She was looking down at me, and I just stared back in to her pretty blue eyes. They had a shine to them that couldn't have been compared to the shine of diamonds. I could see a clear reflection of myself in those precious gem stones.

"A..are you real?" I asked, purely hypnotized by her beauty.

She giggled softly and nodded before offering me her hand.
