Chapter 3: Do You Purr?

Adrien's POV.

"What is that sound?" I asked to myself as I got close to Mari's house. I looked through the trapdoor "Princess what's wrong? Princess?" I was so worried I opened the trapdoor and went to her "Princess wake up." "Chat, NO! Please don't leave me here." She was crying so much. "I won't leave you Princess." I crawled across to her and rapped my arms around her I won't leave you ever."

I was dreaming of Mari finding out that I was Adrien and Chat Noir and she fell crying and never talked or wanted to see me again. "Leave me alone Chat or should I say Adrien." "I'm sorry I won't leave. I won't let you feel like that Princess, not because of me."

I woke up and she told me what I said. "I said to much I just came because you were crying in your sleep I came to help you and must have fallen asleep." "It doesn't matter what you said or why you're here. It just matters that you are here."

I was so thankful for the mask because I was blushing like crazy. I had this goofy smile. "Come on Chat lets make some breakfast." She said trying to pull me up but I pulled her to me but I couldn't help smiling while doing so.  "Not yet Princess, I just want to sleep, please?" I couldn't stop looking at her bluebell eyes.

She caved and I couldn't stop smiling but "Fine but I'm going to start baking." I couldn't help but pout "But I want you to stay with me." I couldn't look away.

She was so beautiful and made me smile. "Here when ever you miss me remember 'As a child, you would wait, and watch from far way. But you always knew that you'd be the one to work while they all play.' you are a warrior." 

While she was down stairs I saw all the pictures of me in the trash can. I sighed and looked away. "I can't believe I hurt you that bad." I was almost in tears. "What have I done?" I couldn't stop thinking I hurt her so much, I'm such a bad person. 

"Chat. Chat can you come here please?" She called and I lit up, I ran to the door but calmed down just in time. 

"Yeah, Mari. What do you need?" I was so happy she called me down. 

"Hey, so I needed some help with the cupcakes for my friends I want to plan tomorrow having a picnic in the park. I'm going to text them later today and the rest is for you and the baking." She  looked at me with wide, bright eyes. 

"Alright." She got out the bowl and all that stuff, "Do you know how to bake?" She looked at me like she knew the answer but I told her different, "I kn-know how to bake." "Well then eat some muffins or pancakes because we have work to do."

Marnette's POV.

"What are you doing, Chat?" "I'm putting the flour in." I couldn't help but laugh "You have flour all over your face and hair and down your arms." I laughed again I couldn't stop. He looked like he was a little mad. "Okay, okay."  

I took a damp washcloth and wiped his face "Do you purr?" I asked and he unsuccessfully hid the purr that came. "That answers my question." I giggled a little. I couldn't see it but I knew he blushed pretty hard.

I wiped the rest of his face and then to his arms and didn't stop purring till I quit wiping his face and arms. 

To my room I brought a spray bottle, moved a table, water, a dry towel, some cookies and macarons, and of course Chat. I sprayed Chat with the water and he ran to my bed "Come on Chat I need to wash your hair. Please come down, please." I begged and he came down face to face "Fine just get it over with." Chat sounded angry "Fine if you don't want it I'll just put it all back." I felt kind of hurt that he was angry for me trying to help him. 

"Stop, please it's alright, Mari. I didn't mean to hurt you." He looked down and frowned

I sprayed his hair a lot until the water ran out I got some more but not before I dried his hair I conditioned his hair after soaking it then washed it out and drying it.

Adrien's POV.

She combed my hair and tried to not purr but I couldn't hold it. I purred and purred until...she stopped and I messed up my hair to make it look like it did before. 

"So, you purr." She giggled and I smiled and embraced her. It started to get dark so I told Mari I was going to go home and sleep. 

"Plagg what is wrong with me I think I'm falling in love with Mari." I got a little worried. "Well I don't know, but I'm tired, I'm going to bed." Plagg said and went to bed.

(Really quick, Marnette agreed for Tikki to go to the Miracle Box as long as she comes if there is an akuma)

"The Sandboy just checked in now nightmares can begin." The boy sang as he was flying over Paris. All of a sudden I was behind bars and screaming for help. Plagg showed awhile later and "Plagg, claws out!" I yelled and ran out the window.

Marnette's POV.

"Tikki, spots on!" I called and I turned into Ladybug. But my nightmare didn't change. "Chat! Chaatt!" I gasped it was to much, "No it can't be real, it can't be real, Chat why?" I couldn't control it. I just sat there crying, in front of me was Chat Noir's dead body.
