The Thief King rode through the grasslands until he came to a particular tree, underneath that tree was Y/N's Chestnut coated horse. He noticed the large black steed Ganondorf rose on and backed up in anxiousness. Ganondorf took this as a sign and looked at the city.
Ganondorf had the feeling to vomit as he viewed Hyrule. It was the third time within an hour he had felt sick to his stomach. He made the stallion use all it's might to get to Y/N, as a lit up beacon showed where she was.
He saw the gates lower and the citizens run out into the dangerous, monster filled field. Ganondorf would've chosen that as well instead of burning alive in a city. The orange and red flames produced the blackest smoke he had ever seen. It blocked out the moon and stars as it drifted off into the sky. Ganondorf used the might of of his steed and overall intimidation to force the citizens into parting around him and allow him to enter the burning city. He headed straight for the castle that seemed to be the source of the flames. He blocked out the screaming of the citizens in order to focus on finding Y/N. He was not too surprised when the royal guards surpassed him to keep the citizens moving. He finally reached the castle and jumped off his horse. He ran in through the open doors the staff had obviously left opened in their haste to escape.
Ganondorf ran in and saw the walls covered in flames. The canopy above the throne was alight with heat and smoke. Ganondorf was still ,quiet, awaiting for any sign of Y/N. He suddenly heard a crash and something metal hit something. He ran to where he heard the noise originate and found himself in the ballroom, in front of Y/N and the Hylian King. His sword to her throat.
He ran to her aid and unsheaved his own scarab, swinging upwards he forced the kings sword away from Y/N's neck. The King looked in horror as the Thief King stood in front of him. Ganondorf looked down at your weak body. He lifted you up and held you close with his free hand, with what strength you had left, you wrapped your arms around his neck as he slumped you over his shoulder.
"So you're the one's behind all of this!" The King accused pointing his sword at Ganondorf, to which he raised his eyebrows almost amused, then he turned to your half dead body on his shoulder, he grinned a little less but his eyes showed no less amusement.
"Indeed we are. However I'm not surprised this particular follower of mine attacked first. You did destroy her home." He said glaring at the king with his eyes, not facing away from you.
"Seems I was right in my assumption to attack them. They were following the path of evil all along!" He confidently defended himself.
"...t...the children..." You coughed and choaked out weakly.
"As my dear just spoke, I've seen the damage myself. How many young ones do you think you murdered?" Ganondorf asked almost cockily, knowing that he could not be claimed a hypocrit by this. Yes he had done many terrible things, but he had never imagined harming a child. The King sputtered for words, clearly he had only thought of the so called 'evil doers' in that town rather than the innocence. Before the king could reply he began coughing violently, he kneeled to the ground as the smoke entered his lungs and he tried desperately to breathe. Ganondorf held you tightly as he edged closer and closer to the king. With one hand he raised his sword high in the air, the flames reflecting off the silver metal, Y/N's eyes could barely stay open as she saw Ganondorf exact what revenge she had planned to do.
He ran with her out of the castle and back to his steed. He mounted his black stallion and rode off into the night and back to the desert town he called home.
Coming to, Y/N's eyes saw only a dark blue hue. She looked around with her eyes and noted she had no idea where she was. She was scared, yet her weakness and sleepiness forced her eyes close once more as she forced herself to sleep the pain off. She snuggled into the silky soft fabric beneath her and fell asleep once more.
Killorin glared at the Y/S in his leaders bed. He leaned against the doorway as he thought only of his Kings stupidity to risk everything for this.... girl. His fists clench as he realized all Ganondorf had said to him was a lie. A big fat lie. One he made up to save her life. So now she was more important than Jerick? A man they had both grown up with and trained together. One Ganondorf entrusted to lead if he were to one day die? Oh how badly Killorin wanted to unsheath his knife and bring her head to Ganondorf, to force him to apologize and make him feel regret for what he had done. But Killorin was a reasonable man, and knewit was not the Y/S's fault, but the fault of his Kings blindness and insanity. Reincarnation? What a joke. No. What an excuse. The girl had run away from Ganondorf twice now, yet still he keep her here. Forcing guilt to overtake himself wanting too........ set her free.
He looked upwards slightly as he sketched a plan within his mind. Ganondorf only ran after Y/N because he knew she had left. He was silly enough to have told him. But what if he never knew? Sure he'd find out eventually, but by then Y/N would be long gone. There were plenty of places she could go. She could get to the Zora village just past the Hylian city. Or she could head west and enter the Kokiri village. He was sure that would solve everyone's problems! So he left with an eased mind and a plan to fulfill.
