I awoke with a start! My head pounded in my head, but the sounds coming from the hallway got my body in motion as I lifted myself with all my strength and crawled towards the door.
I hoisted myself up enough to see from the tiny window carved out of my door. Next thing I know, the door is being blown in and I'm flying across the floor of my cell.
Before I even became fully conscious, I felt a slight gust on my face and my body swaying up and down. I looked and realised I was being held and whoever was holding me was running for dear life. The motion made my head feel dizzy and I leaned my head back. My surroundings were now upside down, but it helped with the headache. I allowed myself to be carried away by whomever was holding me, and I couldn't help but notice an odd dripping sensation on my head, like water was spilling out of me.
I saw many poor souls tied up by their arms on the walls, but one caught my attention and made me more aware of the situation I was in, because I could've sworn I saw an all too familiar face, Killorins.
I woke up, anaware I had fallen unconcious, and frantically I looked around the room I was in. I was in an all too familiar situation. My brain collided with my skull as I sat up and I tried to sooth the area of my head in pain. I felt bandages on my head and noticed my arms were fully wrapped in them, my stomach too.
I tried getting out of the bed with my pounding headache, but my body was much too stiff from the bandages to move. I was bedridden.
That was no good. I have to get to Ganondorf. He's still waiting for me... Thinking of which, why did I not see him whilst I was uncouncious?
I sat up right in the bed and pondered at that. I shook my head considering it a fluke focused on the now.
My pain was pushed to the back of my mind as I thought hard about my current situation. I finally looked at the room I was in. It's walls were beige but a few mask holding familiar symbols were scattered all over it. There was a small, rectangular window besides the bed I was in. I could narrowly see the desert behind the glass frame. I smiled, knowing I was out of that dim cave, and the motions I went through lead me to believe I wasn't actually dead. However, who has rescued me was another matter.
I carefully stood up, using the bed for support. Leaning down I notice how sinny my legs are. I suppose I never knew how bony I had became during my time in that horried place. Any longer I would've died like.....
Like Killorin.
I sat back down with my head in my hands. My eyes watered. Probably the only one who would never judge me, or lie to me, was dead. The only one who supported me, and pushed me to help Ganondorf, dead.
It did not truly register in my head just how lost I had just become without Killorin. Even Ganondorf himself could not help me. If he could, he would've gotten me out of that prison, but he couldn't.
I only had the ones who saved me to thank for that.
But like I had time for that. No. I needed to get out of here. I needed to find Ganondorf. One way or another I needed to get to him. Killorin's demise showed me that I'm running out of time. It had been at least a day now, I'm sure those guards are searching for me.
I lifted my head out of my hands and stood up. The headache persevered, but so did I. The door I walked through was wooden, but sturdy, as was the entire house I found myself in. It had walls that were lined with paintings of people and hunting trophies. A small bowl resided in the middle of the table in the door less room I had entered, the wooden bowl was filled with a large bunch of Bananas. In the corner of the room I saw a low to the ground box that held various weaponry, all dangerous looking.
A dagger sized handle stuck out, but I could see the handle connected to a large iron ring adorned with razor sharp spikes.
Another dagger sized handle was laying flat, but it lead to shiny iron that had been shaped to be a sickle.
Standing atop the box was a long sword that had a reflective edge and sharp point that ever so slightly dug and splintered the wood beneath it. The blades length created an odd, yet beautiful, wavy pattern. I then realised it was two sword blades that had been weaved into one.
I jumped when I heard footsteps creaking into my hearing range. The figure that came from around a corner was a tall, muscular, tanned woman. She had long red hair tied in a ponytail, her nose was sharp and long. She reminded me oddly of Ganondorf.
"Ah, you're awake." She said as she walked closer to me and I relised just how much taller she was than me. Her clothes were loose and light blue. I was facing her belly when she stood just before me, I had to crane my neck back just to see her face.
"Who are you?" I asked backing away slightly. She chuckled.
"Eavise." She said. "I've heard rumours that you were taken by the Hylian guards, so I took my chance." She said crossing her arms.
"But why save me?" I asked interested in her ulterior motives.
"For the bounty your parents are giving." She said blandly.
"My parents?!"
"Of course. They seem worried, I mean, they're giving out two years worth of food supplies and 50 purple rupees." She explained.
"50 rupees! They'll go out of businees!" My stomach felt sick knowing my parents were so willing to give everything away.
"I'm not going with you!" I yelled at Eavise.
"Pardon? I have just spent three long weeks looking for you, healing you, and you don't want to go home?" She asked beyond annoyed.
"I won't! I'm not going to let you take so much from my family!"
"A family you ran away from?" She asked raising an eyebrow. I paused. I know I should be thankful my parents are giving up so much for me, but.....
"I need to find Ganondorf." I said making my way to a door that had a small window looking outside on it.
"And leave your family behind?" She asked.
"Please tell them that I am safe." I felt a strong grip on my shoulder that stung my muscles and bones.
"I am not a simple messenger. And what about this Ganondorf, sounds like a voe's name." Eavise said unimpressed.
"Ganondorf is my.... significant other." I slumped in her grip to try and uselessly loosen it.
"Oh. I see." She spun me around by my shoulder and sat me down at the table. She leant on her arm on the table and began interogating me.
"So you snuck off to be with lover boy and got kidnapped?" She mused. "Was that the man your parents described knocking at your door a day earlier?"
"What? No! He was helping me find Ganondorf and now he's.... he's...."
"I see. And this man is so important why? You seem like you could get another man pretty easily." She said looking me up and down. I sighed.
"You don't get it, he has and will always be there for me. I just need to find him." Eavise took in a deep breath and sighed again.
"You Y/S's and your emotions." She sat up straight again and stood up.
"Whatever, fine, but I want you to do me a favour when you leave." She huffed.
"And that is?"
"Come back once you've finished your little boyfriend hunt, I still want that reward." I gave a forced smile her way and left out the door.
