I sat in front of the 20 something year old man, Killorin, in the garden. My father looked on from the window worried ever since I had asked for a moment alone with him.

"So what do you remember?" He asked leaning in slightly.

"I remember your face, however I do not know your name or where you are from, but I can recall an odd name." I said.

"Who's name?" He asked now very intrigue.

'Ganondorf." I said softly. Killorin leaned back with a smile on his face.

"Good, you can recall him." He said satisfied.

"May I ask why I can recall him?" I asked slightly freaked out.

"Have thee ever heard the concept of reincarnation?" He asked.

"No." I asnwered.

"Reincarnation is the rebirth of a soul in another body. It's a sign that they have a reason to come back. In your case, I think it's love." He explained carefully. I scoffed.

"Excuse me? Reincarnation? Love? I'm 17 and I've never really been with any man." I said very skeptical.

"Not in this life you haven't." He said raising his eyebrows.

"Then may I ask where you tie into all of this?" Killorin leant back and had casted on a guilty look.

"I used to work for Ganondorf. We were the best of friends. I... I'm here making up for a mistake I made." He said slowly.

"What mistake?" Y/N asked crossing her arms.

"T'was my fault you lost Ganondorf." He spoke, his guilt crawling up his spine.

"You killed your boss?" Y/N asked shocked.

"T'was an accident!" Killorin spilled before realising she did not remember, nor understand his meaning.

"I see." She said with a huff "So. What now?" Killorin stood up and held out his hand towards her.

"We go find Ganondorf."

"What!? I don't even know what the man looks like. Unless he's the strange man from my dreams." She said shocked.

"You've heard of the great beast? In the castle of Hyrule?" Y/N put her hands on her cheeks.

"You mean that's Ganondorf!?" Y/N asked shocked.

"Indeed, he used to have fiery red hair, but it's been twisted into a mane." Killorin explained.

"The dreams." She groaned. Then she grew a pit in her stomach, like a black hole suddenly formed in herself. "In the dreams he tore me apart! He ate me!" She cried scared.

"It's okay Y/N, I can assure you he will not eat you." He reassured.

"How can you be so certain?" She asked.

"He would not harm his beloved. It seems he has not remembered much of me, but I'm sure he'll remember you." He lifted his shirt up slightly to show his large scar still quiet fresh on his stomach. "He gave me this when I tried reasoning with him. It was then that I realized it has to be you who could reason with him. With the help of a certain old man, in an odd windmill, I found you. So I beg of you," he got on one knee, "will you help me save Hyrule and Ganondorf from getting slain?" Before I could answer I heard the large bang of our wooden door and my father running up towards us.

"Don't you dare!" He picked up Killorin from the collar and dragged him out of our garden.

"You just show up, out if nowhere, and ask for my daughter's hand!? She's seventeen!" He shouted throwing the man over the fence. I was dragged back by my angry father and back to my worried mother.

"Wait, dad! He wasn't asking to marry me!" I protested. Before I knew it I was in my room 'safe' from Killorin.

At the very least it gave me time to think about the situation. How could this man believe me to be the riencarnated 'lover' of a goddess danmed Monster? Either way I could not go. My parents needed me here.... Although. If it were true, however bizzare it was, and I was able to help, my parents wouldn't have to work as hard since it would lessen the need for supplies from the gerudo town. But he was a monster. I was always taught to take my dreams as caution. My subconscious was always just a tad bit aheads of time then my normal conscious was. And my brain was able to create the image of that thing eating me alive.

How could I possibly go with a man I just met to certain death. Even he was attacked despite them being best friends. What chance did I have, how close could we have been for him to remember me at all? It was ridiculous.

Then why was my gut telling me otherwise?
