Killorin had him and his mare stand atop a hill. He watched with keen eyes through the darkness of night as he located the captives the Hylians had taken.
They weren't chained but had guards surround them as they did minimal tasks; a such as mining, building, or farming. He hummed in thought to himself. Mounting his mare he rode back off the grass lands and back to his desert homr.
Entering the town he searched high and low for Y/N just in case she was not within her home. Coming to her shared house he jumped off his horse and ran up to the door. Frantically knocking he finally got a response by Y/N quickly opening the door.
"Killorin?" She asked confused. In all honesty she had expected Ganondorf with the odd knocking. He grabbed her hand and pulled her towards his horse. Pulling back but not away she asked,
"What are you doing!?"
"I've found the hostages." He admitted. Her eyes grew wide and she smiled wider.
"Where?".
The two rode on his horse to where Killorin had located the prisoners. The night air was cool and harshly hit Y/Ns legs through her sleepwear.
"Where's Ganondorf?" Y/N asked from behind Killorin.
"Pardon?"
"Where is he? Shouldn't you have told him to be here?" She asked a little bit louder. Killorin did not answer for a while, all those seconds had Y/N on edge.
"The plan I have, Ganondorf would not approve." He spoke calmly.
"Shouldn't he approve?" She asked worried.
"Do you want to save them now? Or in three days when Ganondorf finally decides what to do?" He asked slightly annoyed. Y/N held her breath as they got further and further away from the town. She still believed Ganondorf should've known. But Killorin had a point.
After getting to the grasslands and away from the desert, it began to rain slightly. The little pitter patter of the rain hit the saddle and the top of the riders heads. Y/N used her arms to hug herself and create just a little bit of warmth in her. However she quickly grabbed onto Killorin's sides as the horse bucked up at the sight of Hylian guards running at them.
"What are they doing here?" Killorin asked himself.
"Where are the captives!?" Y/N asked shocked and scared.
Killorin looked around the area and noticed the group of captives beyond another hill. He had gone the wrong way.
Killorin had quickly gotten the horse to spin around, but an arrow coming his way had shot the made in the leg, forcing the rest of her body down. The two tumble rolled off the horse and hit the ground. Y/N quickly got to her feet and helped Killorin up as well. The two ran as fast as possible, both their hearts sunk as they heard the mares whine of distress.
They both took off to the hills running over the grass and trying to stay up right.
"What were they doing there!?" Y/N asked huffing from exhaustion.
"We had gone the wrong way! They must of had guards stationed around the area!" He explained out of breath. The two continued running for their lives despite their lungs burning with a fierce intensity and their bodies sore from falling off the horse.
They slid down a small cliff in the side of a hill hiding from the guards. Killorin grabbed his large hunting knife out and steadied himself. Y/N stood in fear, she had no weapon nor any defence other than the man that had taken her here. Killorin faced Y/N.
"I'm sorry. I did not know they would be here." HE stated apologetically and worried, he did not want either of them to die, he just wanted her to save her people and leave with them.
"What was your plan of action? With Ganondorf or any others it is two on fifty." Y/N scolded. Killorin looked to the ground. Despite how well planned out and calculated he and others saw him, this plan was much too rash and was not planned out at all. The footfell of the soldiers only a few feet away caused the two to look up under the cliff and wait anxiously.
"Our best course of action is to run and try to make it to the desert." Killorin quickly explained.
"On foot!?" Y/N asked shocked. The heavy clunking of armour came too close and the two ran for it. Across another hill the two had made it after regaining their stamina, however a joltiing pain hit Y/N's leg and she once again tumbled to the ground in pain. She screamed out for anybody to help relive the scorching pain in her thigh.
Killorin whipped around to see Y/N gripping her leg that had caught an arrow. He rushed over to her and dragged her by her waist backwards to safety but the Guards were upon them. They shot more fatal arrows, one piercing Killorin's left shoulder. He gripped the arrow and attempted to pull it out.
More arrows were shot there way, but before more could hit Killorin heard gurgling and the sound of metal hitting the grass. He looked up with wide eyes, there stood Ganondorf.
His red hair was stained with the blood of the hylian guards that lay on the ground before his feet. His yellow eyes seemed more golden than ever and showed the emotion of pure unbridled rage. His large iron sword was deep with the chest cavity of a fallen guard, it's rim was coated in a thick layer of scarlet. The other thieves were thick in battle with the other guards, it was clear who was winning, the surprise attack was not one the Hylians had not accounted for.
Ganondorf looked towards Killorin and Y/N. His eyes softened and a greatly worried look was what he gave as he ran towards the two. He picked up Y/N from Killorin's grasps, only then did he see the arrow that had pierced Y/N's chest. She lay limp in his arms and he subtly touched her cheek. He looked back at Killorin with a shocked and questioning look. He stepped back with Y/N in his grasp and mounted his coal black steed.
"We Will Return Home!!" He screamed the order to his men. They all mounted their own horses and rode with him back to their desert town.
The scene was all to familiar. Y/N in his arms as the rest if the thieves rode behind him. But the last time Y/N's heart was beating and she ever so softly nuzzled into Ganons stomach. He held her body tight. The blood with her stopped their motion and dripped out of her, it left her body cold. A coldness Ganondorf desperately wanted to go away. But he knew she was gone. Her eyes were slightly open and their once E/C pupils were now glazed over and hazy.
Ganondorf made sure she was buried with her people. He cleared a little part of her town with his hands and laid her to rest with a simple, yet elegant grave stone.
'It's what she would've wanted' He told himself. And he would make sure to bury the rest of the murdered souls along with her. She would've only wanted peace for them.
Killorin shuffled up behind him. His footsteps bringing no emotion to Ganondorf. He was just lonely. Too lonely to feel hatred towards Killorin.
"My Lord." He spoke softly. Much softer than what was usual out of the confident man. "I did not intend for her to...." He did not dare speak.
Ganondorf did not reply. He awaited for Killorin to finish his speech then he would spend the rest of the day in silence with Y/N.
"I..." Killorin choked out, "I know a way to bring her back." He spoke gaining confidence.
Now Ganondorf listened to him. He looked towards the man and awaited his next words.
"In an ancient realm. It is known as the sacred realm. It holds a power. It's known as the triforce. Made by the three goddesses themselves. It has unfathomable power and could bring anybody back with just a word." He explained. Ganon was skeptical. That was too good to be true. But he was desperate. She may have been laid to rest. But if he could bring her back....
From there he took a large band of thieves and chased after this 'sacred realm'. However the journey and the power was fated to change his already large form to one of a great beast. A form that would cost him his name and life. A form that would cost him his memories of his love.
