He was shy.

Never really talked.

And definitely never really talked to people.

Never participated in class, but is an A+ student in all his classes. The teachers would sometimes push him to participate, calling on him to answer a question because they know he is smart.

But he stays quiet. With his head down low hoping for the moment the teachers would give up on trying to make him talk and move on to call on the next person.

The teachers always sighed.

They saw the potential in him always wanting the boy to come out of his shell.

But at last what a waste because he was not going to talk.

Too scared.

Too scared at the fact that if he ever does talk everyone will look at him with surprised looks and stares. They already stare at him when he doesn't answer and they're tired of sitting in silence waiting for him to speak up and answer the easy question that he definitely knows.

They were tired of him.

Teachers were tired of trying.

Even with an A in every class he always received a 0 for participation.

He was not mute.

He wasn't.

It just so happens that it became his thing, no one heard him talk ever and if he ever decided to, he wouldn't want to see the reactions he would get and bring more attention to himself. And he definitely does not want that.

He does have friends though.

Online friends.

People don't know he has a following on Instagram with 1,000 followers. Mind you he runs a fan account for 5 seconds of summer.

His favorite band.

But nobody knows that, well except his parents and his online friends that share the same interest in the band.

His parents of course want to see him talk more in school and make real life friends.

But they know it's hard for him.

He talks with his parents though.

He loves how they understand him, support him, and get him 5sos posters.

He has a younger brother that's 6 months old.

So of course the baby won't talk back but Tyler does enjoy taking care of his sibling.

His mother thinks his baby talk is so cute.

But.

Other than that he goes on with his life day by day going to school. Don't talk. Go home. Say his day was fine and yes he's hungry for some pizza rolls until dinner is ready. Do homework. Eat dinner. Play Mario cart with dad, while mom reads or plays with his brother. Then shower. Got to bed.

Repeat.

Repeat.

Repeat.
