✨✨✨

Tyler tiredly got ready for school on Monday morning.

He quickly picked out something simple.

Black jeans with a light blue hoodie and a plain white tee underneath, and sometimes if it's a Wednesday or a Friday he'll wear the yellow mustard hoodie, that he absolutely loves. More than his baby blue one. And of course accompanied with his black vans.

He then made his way to the bathroom flicking the light on and squinting as the bright light takes over his vision.

Blinking a few times he sees his reflection in the mirror and is faced with the same plain dull face of his that he never liked.

Boring brown eyes.

Slight bags under his eyes.

Bushy eyebrows.

Red pink lips that belong to a girl.

And of course his messy hair.

Some say he is so cute and gorgeous and that they'll date him if he wasn't so...shy.

But he just sees an ugly person in the mirror that doesn't want other people to see or even notice.

After brushing his teeth, Tyler meets his mother in the living room where she is watching the morning news while feeding his little brother some milk in her arms.

She says "good morning sweetie" and tells him that breakfast is on the table and Tyler soon after giving a kiss to Zack's chubby cheek makes his way to the kitchen.

Today his mom made him some eggs with a biscuit on the side.

Tyler prays for his meal something he's grown used to after so many years in his Christian home. His parents always encourage him to pray for others and the things he's blessed with and grateful for. His parents aren't those people to just shove faith in his face, but they do go to church every Sunday and believe that by just being kind towards others and spread love then you're doing something right in the world and you'll be blessed for your good deeds.

He takes about 10 minutes eating and after putting away his plate goes to grab his bag and waits for his mom while putting on his shoes.

"Honey don't you want to put a jacket on top of that hoodie?" His mom says while she finishes wrapping a blanket over his baby brother.

Tyler shakes his head, it's not like he's going to be outside for most of the day.

"Alright then" she sighs looking at him for a sec thinking how it's another day her son won't interact with the outside world.

Tyler fiddles with his hoodie strings thinking about the same thing.

He pulls on the strings and the hoodie shrinks shielding his face, something he wished he can do to make it through the day.

What felt like a fat minute, his mother opens the door and starts putting Zack in the car seat.

Tyler follows and buckles his seatbelt, taking deep breaths.

He always feels nauseous before going to school. He doesn't know why. Nerves maybe.
But he tries to control himself by taking deep breaths.

Something he's gotten used to doing too.
