After lunch the family got themselves ready to go to the lake. Tyler and Joshua went to change in a nearby bathroom that was next to the lake and a park.

Tyler was insecure about how he would look like to Joshua since he's not wearing a shirt, he even debated wearing a swim shirt but decided not to because he trusts Joshua and he wouldn't judge him for how he looks.

Tyler walks out of the bathroom seeing that Joshua is already outside applying sunscreen to his shoulders and arms.

He blushes for he stares at his movements and is in awe in the way his back flexes and how his arms look so strong.

He definitely works out, he thinks.

He also wonders how he should too considering his arms are like spaghetti arms.

Joshua finally turns to him seeing him observing his arms.

"Do you want me to put sunscreen on your back?" Joshua asks already getting more sunscreen on his hands.

"Yes please." Tyler says, he squints when looking at Joshua for its so bright out, he should've brought his sunglasses.

Joshua then moves behind him and starts applying the sunscreen.

The tall boy lingers his touch on the boy's back, he's never felt anything smoother than Tyler's back, it's just so soft and smooth he wants to keep applying sunscreen on the boy if it means getting to touch his angelic golden skin.

"Alright all done babe let's go!" Joshua grins after a moment and interlaces his fingers with the younger.

They join Tyler's parents where they placed their things under the shade of a tree with a plaid picnic blanket spread out for Tyler's mom and Zack.

His mom is applying sunscreen to Zack as well.

"Mom we're going to go in now." Tyler says dropping his towel on top of the blanket.

"Okay sweetie! Be safe and don't go to far alright?" She says.

"Yeah!" Tyler yells when he's already running towards the lake with Joshua.

As soon as he enters the water he gets right out.

Joshua laughs.

"It's so cold!"

"Come on Tyler you'll get used to it!" Joshua encourages him showing him how he's already diving into the water.

Tyler slowly inches forward into the water again and once he's stomach deep he doesn't want to go all in just yet, it's too cold for him.

Joshua though swims towards him and grabs his ankles and scares Tyler causing the small boy to shriek.

"Joshua!" Tyler turns to see Joshua laughing and wiping away the water out of his face.

Joshua continues to tease and grab him as if he'll knock him in the water and Tyler really hates him right now.

"Babyyyy please just get in!" Joshua chuckles, his face near Tyler's hips looking up at him.

Tyler smirks getting an idea and soon he moves forward and pushes Joshua's head down into the water giggling.

"Oh no big mistake!" Joshua says after he comes back up.

"Wh-" Tyler is cut off and is met with cold water in an instant.

He comes up and Joshua is holding him eyes smiling.

Tyler glares at him and wipes his eyes.

"Not cool! Not cool." Tyler looks at him still glaring.

"I'm sorry baby but you started it." Joshua grins.

Tyler's teeth shake and he wraps his arms tighter around Joshua needing his body heat to warm him up in the cold water.

"H-how are you not c-c-cold?" Tyler says after a moment laying his head on the tall boy's shoulder.

"Because I got used to the water, the cold will pass soon I promise." Joshua brings Tyler head up to kiss him on the lips.

"Joshua! My parents will see." Tyler whisper yells still centimeters away from Joshua's face.

"Babe don't worry they're busy playing with Zack in the sand, and besides they know about us." Joshua assures.

"I know it's just I feel like it's weird if they see me kiss you."

"Then lets go somewhere more private that way you'll be more comfortable?"

Tyler perks up knowing just where to go.

Pulling away from Joshua and standing up he wraps his arms around himself when he feels the cool air meet his wet body.

"Mom were going to head to the small lake by the park is that okay?"

"Yeah sure hon just please be safe!"

Tyler nods getting his and Joshua's towels.

"There's another lake?" Joshua asks.

"Yeah it's small as if it can be a pond but it's clean and it's by the park so that's nice too!"

The boys set their towels in a patch of grass and again head to the lake.

Joshua notices that this lake is definitely much smaller than the one they were previously at.

This time Tyler didn't have trouble getting in the water since he was already wet.

But he still wraps himself around Joshua loving the way he holds him while they just float.

Tyler is very light underwater so it wasn't a problem for Joshua and he loves holding his baby so either way it's never a problem.

"Are you comfortable now?" Joshua asks admiring the way the sun makes Tyler's skin glow and don't get him started on the small water droplets and his face and especially his eye lashes that for some reason makes them look incredibly longer and his hair that sticks to his forehead making him look so cute and he just wants to kiss him again because he looks so kissable right now.

"Yeah." Tyler smiles.

Oh his smile god he really lo-likes him like a lot he really really really likes him.

"I'm going to kiss you now."

Tyler giggles but is cut off when a pair of lips meet his.

Joshua always makes him feel comfortable and safe.
