Joshua never looks for trouble.

Trouble looks for him.

He gets most of his detentions for not making it to class on time.

In his defense it's not his fault the school decided to make him walk three flights of stairs just to get to second period.

So he got a lot of tardies.

When he started attending his detentions he met a couple of kids that were more trouble than him, Joshua is just late all the time, these kids want to throw fists any moment they can get.

So when they start picking on Joshua and pressing his buttons Joshua gets enraged and decides to put them in their place.

Joshua didn't start fighting or arguing with the kids until they start hitting a topics that's are very personal.

For example, Joshua got suspended for five days because he punched a kid for calling his sister, Ashley, who's a grade lower than him, a slut.

So yeah, these kids asked for it, Joshua concludes.

They've learned their lesson after that, only a few times here and there calling Joshua ugly yadah yadah, Joshua doesn't listen to that type of bs.

There's only been two occasions where Joshua has gotten suspended but even that considers him a "bad boy".

Not to mention the school is very clean, a fight or any scandal is rare.

So people don't mess with him, rumors fly high.

Everyone has a different story.

Joshua is the only person who knows what goes down and why.

The victim does too but even they play around with their version of what happened.

Joshua hates having to have detention with them, it's why he is able to go to another place in the school to serve it.

The teachers wanting him to keep his distance away from the annoying problematic kids.

Who by the way, aren't sh-

Joshua thinks.

But anyways, it really killed Joshua's social life, people are afraid of him, even when they know he's a nice and calm kid in his other classes.

Joshua even hates seeing the fear in Tyler's eyes when he's around the boy, especially the first time they met.

Joshua never thought Tyler would warm up to him so quick that he talked to him. 

Joshua would never hurt Tyler, because he knows most people think he's going to hurt them.

But he's not like that.

He has his reasons for those times he's fought those musty kids.

But even then he hasn't been able to keep a single friend for that last two years.

Only being around Ashley when she has classes near him.

Being friends with Tyler is one of the best things that's happen to him in his high school years.

As exaggerated as that might sound, he genuinely means it.

He connects with Tyler in not having friends, because well he is Tyler's first real friend, according to his mom.

And Tyler is Joshua's first friend he's made in high school.

And he wants to be the best friend Tyler has ever had.

He will not mess it up.
