Author's Note

So a funny thing happened on my way to putting the kids to bed last night.

An odd conversation developed in the Discord channel for the Supported Stories authors. We were talking about things, and a strange conversation about werewolf stories popped up. In a bout of stupidity that I still cannot believe I agreed to, we started plotting a werewolf parody, and I agreed to write it if someone made a cover.

So I got called on it. And styling myself to being a man of my word, and happy to drive druidrose nuts, I started this absurd little story about awkward tropes. It's a parody of werewolf romance stories, and there's so much sarcasm you could float Luca's yacht on it. I'll be making hopefully gentle fun of the genre, but feel free to tell me when I've taken a joke too far.

As always, feel free to bug me about any of this.

And if this ends up becoming the most read thing I've ever written, I may either give up writing, or change my username to sellout and see if Wattpad Next can't make me some real dough.

I'll try to keep this from slowing down my next Everburning City project.
