A/n - Sorry it's so short.
"After this, I think I might undergo the joining" the (h/c) headed rogue smiled to their elven mage friend. "Then we will be Grey Wardens together! Right Velanna?"
And now there you stood, in front of the Warden awaiting the goblet. You gulped as your hands trembled from the nervous feeling within you. Or maybe it was a mixture of fear and nervousness as not only was your hero standing in front of you, but your life was on the line.
What if you were not meant to be a warden? Would you die here and not in glorious battle?
Thoughts bubbled inside you as they finally handed the goblet to you to which you accepted quickly. (E/c) eyes scanned the crimson liquid. There was no turning back. This is it. Life or death.
Slowly, but shakily, you raised the goblet towards your lips. And within a matter of seconds, you had consumed the blood and handed the goblet back to the warden.
"I wonder what fate has install for me..." you muttered as the fits kicked in and images flashed through your mind. Just as quickly as it started, it ended, and everything turned black.
Velanna ran to her friends' side in panic. Her small hand made its way to (Y/n)'s pulse, waiting to hear the sound of their heart beating.
And it did beat. You lived and found yourself among the grey wardens currently in Kirkwall with Stroud and the recruit Carver while Velanna awaited your return.
"I miss you. Please return to me soon, Vhen'an,".
