Lucas walked to school now a teenager, Eliza walked with him "Hey Lucas you alright?" he looked at her and shrugged "I don't know Eliza, I'm trying to figure out where my sister disappeared to, she couldn't have went to the outskirts of Inkwell" they made it to Inkwell high, his friends tried everything to cheer him up of course nothing worked until he heard something about bullying someone "Hey! everyone Aylo Warblestick is picking on a kid!" Lucas ran to check it out he didn't like Aylo picking on kids younger than him, who he saw made him stop in his tracks she cried cowering he Mouthed 'Layla' He ran to her Rescue kicking Aylo growling "Pick on someone your own size!" he looked back finding her gone he sighed walking to his classes thinking to himself 'I thought I saw Layla, she would've been in kindergarten now'
3 hours later
Lucas and his friends walked up to the Casino chatting while Lucas stayed Quiet about who he saw walking in they saw you at the Bar and walked to the Library as they got there Lucas Blurted put "I saw Layla" they looked at him and asked if he was sure he nodded and wondered where she's been the whole time, they planned on sneaking out while their parents were asleep they all nodded agreeing.
With Layla
Layla walked into the house looking around "Papa? You here?" no response she shrugged feeling her forehead and grabbed a bucket and Sponge "Oh well I better start on cleaning up" she sighed and started cleaning up a sharp pain shot up on her forehead she gripped her head yelling Spilling the bucket of water. She looked at the mess and noticed stubs of horns forming on her head and began to smile a bit "Whoa, I-I have horns" she heard a voice from behind her "sorry I'm late Layla, work's been busy today, Layla?" She looked at her 'Father' and smiled "Papa Forkington look! I have horns! aren't they pretty?" he froze and sighed "Well The horns are somewhat like the Devil's family and I already told about them, Didn't I?" she nodded and hid her horns with her hair looking at the ground "I'll go to my room Papa" he nodded and patted her head "Don't forget, to wash up for dinner" she nodded smiling a bit and quietly shutting her door walking to her window asking herself "How'd I get my horns?" she sighed opening her window and started singing unaware that someone was listening from a Distance Peppermint, she continued to sing not noticing her name being called, Peppermint recognized the voice and thought to himself out loud "Mr.Forkington?" he quickly covered his mouth hiding Layla looked around and closed her window calling back "Coming Papa!" her door shut.
With Peppermint
Peppermint ran to the casino looking for Lucas "Lucas! where are you man?" Lucas stood up from behind the Bar "Hey Peppermint what can I get ya'?" he sighed "Uh a water, But Lucas I saw her and she has horns!" Lucas shushed Peppermint and walked him to the break room making sure no one was around "Peppermint this better not be a Joke cause joking about anyone seeing my little sister will send the wrong idea, you know that." Peppermint nodded "Lucas Come on, do I look like a cup that would make Jokes, well my dad I know makes jokes but you know what I mean!" Wheezy walked in "what are you two yelling About?" Lucas answered "We were yelling cause We hate School!" Wheezy shrugged "Well I guess that would make sense, see ya later then" They waved bye and looked at each other "Peppermint tell me where she is, I want to see my sister again," Peppermint looked around "I'll show you at dusk we'll get the group and I'll show you which house she was in." They nodded shaking hands.
11 pm
Peppermint and Ocean waited outside the casino for Lucas and Eliza "Alright we're here," they nodded walking on the way they made their group and walked up to Their old teacher's house Lucas was confused "Peppermint is this a joke?" Peppermint nodded no "No, I swear to you that I'm not lying" they all heard a window opening and quickly hid behind a large bush and peeked through the leaves they heard a familiar voice coming from the room "Layla it's time for bed, and please Close the window" She looked at her door and shut her window "Okay Papa" The lights turned off. They all got out of the Bushes "Well peppermint wasn't lying, Ocean, Hans and Magnolia can you bring to the casino tomorrow?" they nodded.
