N is for November 19, 1999

Did you know I have to Google that?

So that's coming up in a few days. Do you have a favorite birthday celebration? What would be your birthday wish aside from the championship? Do you still believe that birthday wishes come true? What are you grateful for in the past year?

This is also your last year being a teen. Are you aware of that? Do you plan on doing something different to commemorate that?

Do you think that when one turns 20 they already become an adult? Or do you think that being an adult is more dependent on their mindset and the way they act?

What do you plan on doing for your birthday? Do you have a game then? I hope you win if you do. Though I have no doubt you would work for that.

November 19, 1999. That's a lot of N's in there. I was actually patting myself at the back for even thinking of that.

What else is there to talk about?

I don't want this letter to be just questions. So I'll share my wishes for you.

I wish you and your brothers and your teammates would never get an injury throughout your basketball career. I wish that you would always have motivation to do the things that you love. I wish that you'll cope healthily in balancing academics and sports. I wish that you'll always have a reason to be happy. I wish you'll always strive to be a better individual. I wish you get acquainted with the right crowd and be strong and brave enough to walk away from those that lead you down the wrong path. I wish your prayers get answered. I wish you'll be happy on your birthday.

Can I wish on your birthday too?

If I can, I wish to meet you.

Do you still close your eyes when you wish?

Just Anon
