Day 15: Doctor/Dentist Visits

Jason's POV

To summarise: Luke is bleeding, we are sat in a dodgy waiting room waiting for someone who is apparently a doctor, I am scared.

"So... who is this person we've come to see?" I enquire because if Luke chose to come here it may not be the best decision.

"He's a doctor yeah? He's gonna help us out," Luke answers.

Still not convinced.

"And he's helping criminals because?"

"He screwed up with something a while back and got kicked out of medical school but he's fully trained and everything," he attempts to reassure me. If I'm being honest that only made my fears worsen.

"So this is safe?"

"We can't exactly go to a normal hospital can we?" Luke points out.

"Not what I was asking. You are literally bleeding out yet we sit here all calm. I don't get it."

"No no look, I'm not an emergency," he responds. Not an emergency? He's bleeding out here!

He starts pointing out the other people walking quicker than usual and who have a slight twitch in the corner of their eye. 

"None of us are screaming in pain, as much as we would like to be, but I am not the worst person in this room." Luke says to me, now I'm starting to see his point.

"Ok, that's fair. I still don't like it."

"It takes some getting used to," he reassures.

We get called through to see the doctor and I find it quite hard to get to my feet I'm shaking that much. But as we walk into the room it is surprisingly modern and clean.

"Well then. This is unexpected."

"Don't judge us before you see the whole thing."

He gets stitched up and given the all clear by Mike, the slightly dodgy doctor.

"Hug?" I ask, still nervous even though I know he's ok.

Luke turns and embraces me, he thinks I don't see the slight wince as the stitches brush against my side, but he's alright.
