Day 16: Having a lazy day

'Ring ring! Are you there, are you there?" Songs my alarm at 6:30am precisely every morning. But today, it shall not.

Today is a lazy day, today I'm not getting up until I have to because snuggling with Luke is the best part of the morning.

"You awake J?" He mumbles in a broken morning voice, unable to speak so soon after waking.

I quietly hum and curl closer towards him, snuggling into his chest. He wraps his arms tighter around me and we just lay there together not caring what happens because we are together and comfy.

"Do we need to get up yet?" He asks gently.

"We have at least one more hour to cuddle then we can grab some brekkie." I reply because I am not leaving unless someone drags me.

We finally decide to drag ourselves out of the bed and hop in the shower to get ready for the day.

Haha. The day of doing nothing.

So we arise from the depths of slumber and stand facing the mirror in our room looking at each other.

"Ready?" Luke asks when we look just about finished.

"Think so," I say.

"Let's gooooooo!"

His enthusiasm is catchy as I perk up and get happier with every step.

Definitely in the mindset to enjoy doing nothing instead of doing it just for the sake of it.

Let the lazy day. . . Begin!
