Jason POV

Oh my god. It's Luke.

He looks almost, cute?

He's all curled up on the sofa in a ball with about seven blankets around him. That's so sweet! He's clutching the edge of one of them as if he was cuddling it.

That's ah, usually me there but ya know, I'm here.

That sounds creepy.

Wait this whole thing is creepy, I'm here watching another human in their most vulnerable state. Why am I stood here just watching him unconscious and saying he looks cute.

I feel really weird now.

Why did I think of that.

No brain.

Stop.

But I really can't deny he looks like a caterpillar in its cocoon. To be honest when he wakes up he will be like a little soft butterfly so perhaps my analogy isn't so far from the truth.

I perch on the edge of the sofa next to him and reach out to touch his hair. I probably shouldn't, what if he wakes up? But then again he's like a newborn kitten all snug.

I won't.

Maybe later.

Staying here seems pointless so I go and take my jacket and bag off. Might as well have two cups of tea ready for when he wakes up.

He always tells me a gentle shot of caffeine is the best when you first wake up.
