Damn this place is fancy, I think. There's full on chandeliers hanging from the ceiling with candles embedded in the tips to form the only light in the large room of tables.
It's like we've stumbled into a Disney film where there's a grand ball and two strangers meet for the first time and fall in love. Although I suppose it's a bit late for that. I fell in love a long time ago.
"So. You found a way to get me out of the trench coat and into a suit, eh?" I ask him. I should've known he'd be planning something devious like this.
All he does is smirk, I'll take that as a yes.
I'm not complaining though, he's getting the bill.
