"So where were you today?" Jerome ask me as he sat in my house eating my food.
"None of your business and is that my kale salad?" I asked him as he looked down at his plate.
As if he don't remember eating anything.
"Oh yeah it's bomb but what I want to know is why you coming in here with them same clothes from yesterday...oooh did you not run away this time?" Jerome says and I roll my eyes.
Grabbing a mineral water from my fridge I sit on the couch and watch the show he was watching.
"So you not going to tell me anything?"
"We are dating...there you go..." I say taking a sip of water as Jerome hollered.
"That's my boy see I knew you could snatch her up Kid that's all you had to do now did you or did you not break that back?" He says and I roll my eyes chuckling.
"I didn't break her back...I extinguish her stress alright..." I say as he laughs.
"Alright go ahead smooth operator you look like you extinguished some of your stress too...now that you're back man how about seeing if her friend looking for a macktastic man like myself I got some tricks I wanna show Ms. Toni..." Jerome says and I laugh as we spent the Sunday afternoon joking and getting ready for Monday.

"Okay have a good at school kids..." I say to my kids before I head to work.
"Ms. Simmons you have a 10:00 a.m. meeting with Hasbro and there are some flowers waiting for you in your office..." My assistant Greg says as I grab my mail and go into my office.

Smiling to myself I didn't realize my phone ringing.
"Ms. Simmons you have a call on line two..."
"Hello?"
"So do you like the flowers?" His voice instantly makes me feel butterflies.
"Aren't you supposed to be teaching?" I say smirking as I twirl the phone wire on my finger.
"It's a morning assembly to talk about fire safety and a bunch of other things and I got the write up about it I rather talk to you and see if you're going to have lunch with me?" He responds and I chuckle.
"I go to lunch at 12:30 p.m. usually with Toni or my mother..."
"Okay cancel with them today I don't think they will mind...please I have a suprise for you..." He says making a bit excited.
"Okay where should I meet you?" I ask.
"In your downstairs lobby...Alright Lena baby I got to go the assembly is just about over and I got a music class to teach see you later..." He says with a smirk I can sense it.
